General Meaning – Full Moons 

The mid-point of our 29 day lunar cycle is marked by the Full Moon.  During a Full Moon, the Moon is sitting opposite the Sun and is fully illuminated as it reflects the light of the Sun.

The Moon & the Sun emanate frequencies and these energy waves influence the tides, and all life forms on Earth, including human behaviour & consciousness.  In addition, during a Full Moon, both the Moon & Sun are opposing each other on opposite sides of the zodiac… which can make for a challenging or intense aspect of energy but also a very potent potential as the Lunar & Solar (yin & yang) are in natural harmonic balance.

The SUN represents our ‘outer-world’, our identify, our personality, our ego.  It represents how we ‘shine our light’ out into the world, the present moment, our yang or masculine archetype expression.  The Sun offers us strength, courage and illuminated insight of the Soul.

The MOON represents our ‘inner world’, our hidden emotions, desires, our shadow-self, fears/worries and our dreams.  It represents our feelings, our unconscious beliefs, the past and our yin or feminine goddess archetype.  The Moon offers us the ability to feel, learn from the past and creatively unlock and express our essence.

During a FULL MOON, the Moon is fully illuminated as it sits in opposition to our Sun.  The energy (influenced by the current Zodiac transit) is heightened and emotions, feelings, mental processes, dreams etc are all amplified.  When the Sun & Moon oppose each other during a Full Moon, this can cause tension & uncomfortable friction, but at the same time a greater amplification of vision & potential possibility.  The Full Moon is a powerful time of gratitude, gracefully acknowledging the beauty of life itself and all you have brought into beingness.  You may feel a burning desire to express your creativity, bliss out in sensual activities & through fierce yet profoundly tender vibrations let go of any aspects of your life that no longer serve the grandest vision of your Soul.

The FULL MOON is a great time to ‘moon bathe’ – simply sit under the light of the moon & meditate – and is you breathe-in allow the moon to warm your Heart & expand the beauty of the present moment, and as you breathe-out let the light of the moon transmute that which you wish to release.   Full Moon ceremonies, either lighting a candle for yourself or coming together with others in sacred circle, is a powerful way to bring healing to the self/group and simply BE this Wave of LOVE for all Humanity & planet Earth.  I LOVE placing my crystals out under the Full Moon to cleanse their crystalline structures and infuse them with solar vibrations.

The energy of our Aries Full Moon is a ‘Call to Action’ for humanity, a choice point in our individual & collective potentials.   This is a Full Moon of action, a coming out of the shadows and a rising up to take our place on the frontier lines of revolutionary change.  

During the ARIES Full Moon, the moon is reflecting the light of the Sun in LIBRA.  As the forces of the Sun & Moon oppose each other (Ego-Emotions, I-We) … our FULL MOON is being super-charged by a POWERFUL interplay of planetary alignments… making this a fiercely intense astrological cycle.

Aries is the first sign of the Zodiac and exudes a wilful independence, a pioneering spirit that presents to us as the feeling of anything is possible.  Aries is ruled by Mars the GOD of war, bloodshed & fighting.   Aries is all about ‘Me’ and what do ‘I’ want.

Opposing this fierce energy is our Libra Sun,  encouraging us to walk our paths in harmony, co-operation & blessed community. Libra is ruled by Venus the GODDESS of Love, beauty & harmony.  Libra is all about ‘Us’ and what do ‘We’ want.

As our Aries Moon opposes our Libra Sun, we are super-charged to transcend obstacles/ fears / doubts about what is possible in our lives and BELIEVE with wholeheart in something more beautiful for humanity.   Deep within our Hearts, at the core of our very beings… is a longing to shed the superficial story of separation, anger & fear… and a transcendent desire to simply LOVE one another.

As I created this months Astro Chart (click on image right to enlarge), I was completely awestruck by the interplay of Venus & Mars this FULL Moon. 

As I mentioned above Mars is the GOD of war, bloodshed & fighting.  Venus is the GODDESS of Love, beauty & harmony.  And Mars & Venus are both conjunct in the astrological sign of VIRGO… the ‘maiden’ that is full of GRACE and symbolises purity, justice and service.  Plus both are at a square to Pluto (anything is possible when we believe).

With the archetypical ‘Priest’ (Mars) & ‘Priestess’ (Venus) in the Virgonian ‘Divine Feminine’ embrace of justice through GRACE… PLUS with Mercury (communication) firing up our Sun (Moon)…  we are being CALLED to ACTION, to speak-up, to not play small anymore… there is work to do and the time is NOW.  Believe it and you will see it !

The collaborative energy of  Mars-Venus-Mercury-Pluto-Sun on our Full Moon reminds me of a famous quote by Martin Luther King Jr:

Darkness cannot drive out darkness:
only light can do that.
Hate cannot drive out hate;
only love can do that.

There is power in the collective when we let go of the fear/darkness and BELIEVE in a grander, more beautiful possibility for humanity in our hearts.   When individually (Aries) we see the Light in each other (Libra) we remember we belong to each other, the truth of who we are is LOVE.

Our Aries FULL Moon is also being influenced by Jupiter (expansion) in opposition to Uranus (rebellion)… furthering the desire for people to take a stand… a collective resurgence in sacred-activism. A standing up to our freedoms, human rights, gender rights, civil rights, women’s rights (and male rights for that matter), refugee rights AND our rights to live as FREE HUMAN beings and not being enslaved by the oppressive agendas of governments and those who try to inflict power/control over us.

In Summary, following on from our Venus Retrograde earlier this year… the stage is once again being set this Full Moon for the flourishing of a deeply primal ancient DIVINE FEMININE energy that is collaborative, powerful yet gentle and oozes with sensuality, pleasure and sacred purpose.  An energy that doesn’t seek to control, but rather chooses to include as it stands in balance and harmony with the Divine Masculine… taking our world into a new era of living & being through LOVE.

Asteroid 2012 TC4

On a side note… Coming up on the 12 October 2017, Asteroid 2012 TC4 will be pass between the orbit of the Earth & Moon, coming within an eighth of the distance from the Earth to the Moon. 

At the time of the passby on October 12, our Moon will be 366,000 km above the Earth and Asteroid 2012 TC4 will pass at 44,000km above the Earth.

The last time Asteroid 2012 TC4 passed Earth was in October 2012 and passed us at approx 95,000km above the Earth.

Asteroid 2012 TC4 is between 15m to 30metres wide and its projection will be ‘arced’ by Earth’s gravity as it passes by Earth at approx 10km per second.

The Asteroid is ‘iron debris’ left over from the formation of our solar system approx 4.6 billion years ago.

Benefits of Meditation

On an energetic level, a ritualistic morning meditation sets the pace of your day and syncs your biorhythms with the energy of Earth’s field. When you are in-sync with rhythmic flow, you invite into your life synchronicity, opportunity & sacred potential. 

Your intentions that you set during your 3 minute morning meditation are a force of quantum creativity, that over time will elevate your life to new potentials in mystical & profound ways.  Your heartfelt intentions speak the language of the field and divinity lovingly ‘responds’ to your deepest heartfelt desires.  The universe conspires to ‘bring’ to you that which enables you to step into the grandest most gracious version of you.

Why a 3 Minute Meditation ?

But why 3 minutes ?    Three minutes equates to 180 seconds, or two sets of 90 seconds.

As explained by brain researcher Jill Bolte Taylor in her book ‘My Stroke of Insight (& you may also like to check out her TEDx Talk too):

When a person has a reaction to something in their environment, there’s a 90 second chemical process that happens in the body; after that, any remaining emotional response is just the person choosing to stay in that emotional loop.

Something happens in the external world and chemicals are flushed through your body which puts it on full alert. For those chemicals to totally flush out of the body it takes less than 90 seconds.

This means that for 90 seconds you can watch the process happening, you can feel it happening, and then you can watch it go away.

After that, if you continue to feel fear, anger, and so on, you need to look at the thoughts that you’re thinking that are re-stimulating the circuitry that is resulting in you having this physiological response over and over again.

Now relating this to your 180 second morning meditation…

The first 90 seconds of your daily meditation ritual is about ‘flushing’ the emotional chemicals from your body.  As you focus on your breath and bring your awareness to the present moment, you are clearing your body- physically, emotionally & mentally – in order to set the stage for infinite potential of your day.

The second 90 seconds of your daily meditation ritual is about aligning your vibration with the Earth, Nature, Divinity- opening your Heart to LOVE.  As you think, feel & BE this LOVE… a flood of ‘LOVE’ chemicals surge through your body and your energy field ripples out your heartfelt intentions.

As your 3 Minute Meditation (180 seconds) draws to an end, you have set the highest potential for yourself for the day. Through the expansive flow of your breath, you step into your day being the grandest version of yourself. 

Throughout the day, the Universe responds to your vibratory intentions… and ‘answers’ the following questions that you have rippled out through the field by bringing to you opportunity, synchronicty & divine magical happenings:

1. Today, how may I access the eternal LOVE within my Heart and BE this love through my every thought, word, deed & action

During our October 19/20 New Moon… there is a POWERFUL alchemy of celestial energies that are catalysing a deep awakening, a transcendental pull into a higher possibility of Feminine Essence.

New Moons – General Meaning

The NEW MOON represents the beginning of our 29 day lunar month. During a New Moon, the moon is roughly sitting between the Earth & the Sun, hence the Sun is shining on the ‘dark side of the moon’, the side of the moon we never see.  As a result, we cannot see the moon as the side that faces the Earth is not illuminated.

The Moon & the Sun emanate frequencies and these energy waves influence the tides, our bodies, our emotions & our consciousness.  In addition, during a NEW MOON, both the Moon & Sun are in the same Zodiac sign… giving an exponential boost or concentration of the energy.

The SUN represents our ‘outer-world’, our identify, our personality, our ego.  It represents how we ‘shine our light’ out into the world, the present moment, our yang or masculine archetype expression.  The Sun offers us strength, courage and illuminated insight of the Soul.

Our October NEW MOON falls in the Zodiac sign of LIBRA.  A Libra new moon is all about finding balance in our lives and through our hearts serving something greater than us.

During our October 19/20 New Moon… there is a POWERFUL alchemy of celestial energies that are catalysing a deep awakening, a transcendental pull into a higher possibility of Feminine Essence.

The focus is on our relationships- the relationship you have with yourself which ultimate sets the foundations for the relationship you have with others. 

But first… a little background on the Uprising of the Femine PLUS a little background on our Galactic Cycles such that I can put the greater potential of our October 2017 New Moon into full context.

Uprising of the Feminine…

I have been reflecting deeply this week on the unmasking of a Hollywood player ‘Harvey Weinstein’ (and for that matter the collective energy of all the ‘Harvey Weinsteins’ of this world).  Women have been coming forward on a daily basis with their stories of assault, rape, humiliation and degradation at the hand of those in powerful positions.

Many people around the world this week have felt the pain inside them, as ‘this story’ is also ‘their story’…  whereby women (& men) have feared speaking up as the darkest shadow of the Masculine used money, power, greed, manipulation & abuse to forcibly control Women.  But also, what is coming to light is that the darkest shadow of the Feminine within our culture relinquished its power by being submissive through choking silence and numbing fear.

But now we are seeing the warrior Goddess being unleashed.  Women from all walks of life are reflecting on the astrocities inflicted on the Feminine, personal stories, collective stories, stories of shame, guilt, hurt, rage & grief.  There is a collective uprising, ENOUGH is ENOUGH, the old story, the submission, the suppression, it all ENDS here !

Galactic Centre, Super Galactic Centre, the Great Attractor

As discussed in Crystal Light Healing®, the Galactic Centre is giant black & white whole that sits at the centre of our Milky Way Galaxy.   Our Solar System (along with approx 250 Billion other Solar Systems) take approx 225 Million years to do one complete revolution around the Galactic Centre.

As discussed in Essence of Angels®, the Galactic Centre is the 8D consciousness, the central sphere of Metatron’s Cube.  And as we chart in Aetheric Healing™, the Galactic Centre is locate at 28⁰ Sagittarius and is the Source of our Individual (and hence collective) Souls highest aspirations and greater evolutionary purpose.

Whilst the Earth revolves around our Sun every 365 days and our Sun revolves around the Galactic Centre every 225 Million years, our Milky Way Galaxy revolves around the Super Galactic Centre over of period of immeasurable years (a number beyond the realm of cognition by human consciousness).  The Super Galatic Centre is located at approx 42 Million light years from Earth (1 light year = 9.5 Trillion km) and whilst the Super Galactic Centre has the mass of 30 trillion Suns, 90% of it remains hidden.

The Super Galactic Centre is located at 2⁰ Libra.  The Super Galatic Centre represents the greater potential of our Higher Collective… drawing us into a higher cosmic relationship with the eternal force of creation.  An interweaving, a soul-mate connection, divine quantum creativity in action as the Feminine & Masculine fully unite as ONE, entwining together in a cosmic DNA spiral of life.

Moving beyond the Super Galactic Centre lies the Laniakea Supercluster – Laniakea is Hawaiian for ‘Immeasurable Heaven’.  At the centre of Laniakea Supercluster lies the Great Attractor which is both pulling us toward her centre and simultaneously moving other Galaxies away from her centre (the infinite toric field spiral – ‘as above, so below’).   The Great Attractor gets its name from the fact that it has a mysterious energy force that has a gravitational influence over 100,000 Galaxies, including our own Super Galactic Centre & our Milky Way Galactic Centre.  Through the cosmic ripples of the Great Attractor which bends space/light/time, we have access to the past, present & potential future. 

The Great Attractor sits at 14⁰ Sagittarius.   Awakening to the intelligence of the Great Attractor allows us to let go of the fear, imprinting, dogma, old-Earth consciousness and truly embrace a higher cosmic relationship of LOVE. 

Now back to our October 2017 New Moon energy…

There is something truly miraculous happening in the skies this New Moon.  Referring to the diagram right (click to enlarge), our New Moon Libran energy is being strong influence by Venus in Libra AND the Super Galactic Centre in Libra.

As I discussed in my article earlier this year, Venus represents the Divine Feminine archetype, the embodiment of love, beauty, sensuality, passion & desire. 

Venus is the ruler of both Libra & Taurus.  Libra (Air sign) expresses our desires for harmony, beauty, justice, peaceful and intimate relationships.  Taurus (Earth sign) is pleasure-loving, tactile, stimulates our senses and places importance on wealth/assets to indulge in luxurious experiences. Combined, Venus (through Libra & Taurus) influences what we value in our lives, where/how we place our energy in matters of the heart and the way we give and receive love.

The influence of both Venus & the Super Galactic Centre on this Libran New Moon is rippling its way through ancient levels of the Feminine psyche.   The Feminine around the world is rising up and a quantum force of nature unlike anything we have ever seen before is orgasmically being felt & heard by all.

‘The Feminine is the operating system of the 21st Century.  Compassion, fierce tenderness, intuition, collaboration, empathy, expression, flexibility, vulnerability… these are the values that will drive our economies of the future.  The feminine will change the way with live, work, love… and ultimately deepen our relationships, unify the great divide between each other and foster more meaningful and purposeful lives’.

Our November 3/4, 2017 Taurus Full Moon, marks the first of a trilogy of FULL MOON SUPERMOONS happening over November & December 2017 & January 2018.

This Full Moon SUPERMOON energy may have you feeling like a tug-o-war is at play.   The grounded patient Taurus Energy doesn’t want to budge from its comfortable feel-good place of pleasure.   But the Sun in impatient Scorpio is
PUSHING for change, for growth and for us to take a good hard look below the surface and move us out of our comfort zones.  Ouch !

The MOON represents our ‘inner world’, our hidden emotions, desires, our shadow-self, fears/worries and our dreams.  It represents our feelings, our unconscious beliefs, the past and our yin or feminine goddess archetype.  The Moon offers us the ability to feel, learn from the past and creatively unlock and express our essence.

During a FULL MOON, the Moon is fully illuminated as it sits in opposition to our Sun.  The energy (influenced by the current Zodiac transit) is heightened and emotions, feelings, mental processes, dreams etc are all amplified.  When the Sun & Moon oppose each other during a Full Moon, this can cause tension & uncomfortable friction, but at the same time a greater amplification of vision & potential possibility.  The Full Moon is a powerful time of gratitude, gracefully acknowledging the beauty of life itself and all you have brought into beingness.  You may feel a burning desire to express your creativity, bliss out in sensual activities & through fierce yet profoundly tender vibrations let go of any aspects of your life that no longer serve the grandest vision of your Soul.

The FULL MOON is a great time to ‘moon bathe’ – simply sit under the light of the moon & meditate – and is you breathe-in allow the moon to warm your Heart & expand the beauty of the present moment, and as you breathe-out let the light of the moon transmute that which you wish to release.   Full Moon ceremonies, either lighting a candle for yourself or coming together with others in sacred circle, is a powerful way to bring healing to the self/group and simply BE this Wave of LOVE for all Humanity & planet Earth.  I LOVE placing my crystals out under the Full Moon to cleanse their crystalline structures and infuse them with solar vibrations.

During the TAURUS Full Moon, the moon is reflecting the light of the Sun in SCORPIO.  As the forces of the Sun & Moon oppose each other (Ego vs Emotions, I vs We) … our FULL MOON will have a super-charged effect as it is the first of trilogy of Supermoon over the coming 3 months taking us into 2018. 

What a combination of energy this full moon….and what a brilliant time to really reflect on how you FEEL about your life.

What are you being stubborn about and holding onto (yes we can all explain away WHY we have to hold onto things, and deny the truth of a situation)… but how does holding onto that energy/circumstance really make you FEEL.  AND what would it FEEL like if you let go of it ?

SUPERMOON Energy

Our November 3/4, 2017 Full Moon, marks the first of a trilogy of FULL MOON SUPERMOONS happening over November & December 2017, followed by January 2018.

Overall, energy runs high during a SUPERMOON… you may feel more emotional, electric, experience sleep disturbances or  have expressive / lucid dreams. You may also find your intuition is heightened,  synchronicity more pronounced and you become more aware or sensitive to the energy of the environment / people / plants / animals… actually everything !

As we countdown to the end of 2017, a universal 1 year in numerology… our SUPERMOON trilogy is paving the way for fresh wave of energy taking us into 2018.

Here is what we can expect during over our November SUPERMOON… & recommendations of how to make the most of the Lunar Vibrations:

• REFLECT. Acknowledge how far you have come and reflect on your lessons/learnings this year, embracing the wisdom of the journey, then taking on board those learnings in order to prepare for a new cycle.
• SURRENDER. I know, I know… it has been a long running theme this year and you have heard it all before… but these last 3 SUPERMOONS that bring 2017 to an end and carry us into 2018 are signally a time of harmonisation & unity in all our relationships as we enter 2018, a universal 2 year in numerology…  (I will write more about this in early 2018).
• FORGIVE. Forgive yourself, forgive others… holding grudges only keeps you as the victim.  You may have found this year, as we dived deep through retrogrades, eclipses & black moon.. that stuff from you past has been coming to the surface.  It is now time to finally let go, forgive and find closure, completion and reach a conclusion or resolution to situations or circumstances that have been dragging out for way too long now.
• DETOX.  Be gentle with you and set aside time to care and nurture your body each day.  After a HUGE year of letting go, it is time to renew/refresh you cellular vitality and release the last remnants of e-motional stagnation deep within your cells.  Over the coming months maybe start your day with a little lemon juice in warm water, lush out on green-smoothies, consider eating/drinking Light-Trition Alchemical Foods and if giving up coffee is a no-no… then at least add a little roasted dandelion… be kind to your liver it has worked hard this year ♡
• EMOTIONS. Emotions will be amplified this FULL MOON… and dramas could run rampant.  Rather that feel all consumed with what is happening ‘out there’, it is a time to take a deep look within yourself.  What do YOU feel ?   Could what is happening outside of yourself have anything to do with something you are holding onto / fearing / hiding within yourself ?  What a great full moon energy to own the parts of you causing pain and then transform it into something in alignment with your HEART/Soul.
• MINDFUL PRACTICES.  In just 3 minutes a day you can feel at peace in your body, deepen your relationship with yourself, awaken your innate abundance & truly flourish through radiant living ♡ There are only 62 days left in 2017 – so if start your daily 3 Minute Meditation ritual TODAY… you can flow into 2018 with a whole new outlook on your life, your relationships, your work & love your body into vibrant health.
• TRANSFORMATION.  Our November 3/4 Taurus SUPERMOON may have you feeling like a tug-o-war is at play.   The grounded patient Taurus Energy doesn’t want to budge from its comfortable feel-good place of pleasure.   But the Sun in impatient Scorpio is PUSHING for change, for growth and for us to take a good hard look below the surface and move us out of our comfort zones.  Ouch !   On a poignant note TRANSFORMATION is going to happen… so you may as well surrender and evolve with grace & ease.

On a side note… there is a wee big of a controversy between astro-dwellers about whether this Full Moon falls within the purist definition.  Letting go of all the dogma… just feel into the Moon & what does your heart say ?

The best way to balance with this highly charged Full Moon Super Moon energy is to Earth yourself by walking bare foot on the ground, hiking in nature, swimming in a lake or the ocean or connecting with Crystals / Earths Crystalline Field.  PLUS eating whole LIVE foods will assist your detox and keep you in harmonic flow with nature.

I encourage you all to get back in sync with Nature this SUPERMOON, super-charge your crystals, hug trees, dance under the stars… and bring 2017 to a close with a big juicy open & loving Heart.

I am sitting out in the Sun, cup of tea by my side as I write to you today.  I couldn’t bare being indoors, nature is singing her sweet melodies with mesmerising glory… today is certainly a day to be savoured away from my office desk and out where the wild things roam.

The photo right (click to enlarge) captures the magic of the Air Sylphs playing above me… saying YES to a glorious rainbow of nature healing rays today.

As I type, I am reflecting, joyfully feeling into, and peacefully surrendering to all the wonderful experiences of last week – my Life Mastery Heart Retreat, held here on the Sunshine Coast, Noosa, Australia.

It is so very humbling when beautiful Souls travel from afar, trusting my healing hands & ancient wisdoms with their heart & Souls.  It is a wonderous and most nourishing experience to be of service to a tribe of yummy people, ready & willing to take their lives to deliciously divine new levels of beingness.

This was the first time that I had facilitated my Life Mastery Teacher Courses in this new inhouse Heart Retreat Format… and I must say this truly is the beginning of something very deep, ancient & profound in my work.  I am grateful for the insight, support & guidance by my own Soul group and feel blessed & nourished by our UniversalLifeTools Community for holding space for me to shine my greater vision.

The heart-felt intention of my newly released Heart Retreats, is to take participants online eCourse studies (their Teacher Studies in both Essence of Angels® & Crystal Light Healing®) to new levels of experience.   My online eCourses are profound instruments of knowledge, and then when combined with the inhouse Heart Retreat, the journey from the ‘Head’ is anchored in all directions of time & space into the depths of the ‘Heart’.  

Participants arrived last Saturday (on the Taurus Super Moon) and settled into their Retreat House, having a ‘self love day’ on the Sunday to sleep, meditate, drink tea and stroll along Sunshine Beach. So much was spoken, felt, sung, danced & chanted over the 7 days that I just couldn’t do justice to the full experience in this short post. 

Instead I have offered a small glimpse, a tiny window into the Soul of our Heart Retreat experience, in the hope that a little of the LOVE glimmers through your life too… and you never know, you may even find that you have a calling to attend one of our 2018 Retreats ♡

On Day 1 of the Retreat, our group dived deeply into the womb of Mother Earth and from there we put down our energetic roots to begin the journey of rewilding ourselves and unleashing ourselves to the forces of nature.  Freeing ourselves from our own limitations, becoming drunk on the nectar of love juice and experiencing radiance through the light emanating from our Hearts. 

We ended the day with Lemurian Shahndi (a form of Yin Yoga) by the banks of Lake Weyba, as we connected to Ancient Mother and her playful embrace.

On Day 2 we rose early and headed to the southern end of Noosa National Park, walking along a well beaten track… receiving messages & healings from Wild Flower Devas, grass Spiders and soaring Eagles.  Our destination was a reclusive beach that we synchronistically had all to ourselves.  As we made our way down the hill through the Archway of Pandanas Trees, a cheeky sprite had scrawled in big bold letters in the sand ‘PARADISE’… and yes, we had found it, Paradise for sure.  Another Shahndi Yoga session, tropical fruits in a rock pool, ocean swim, followed by a day of teaching, sharing, releasing & rising to new heights.  Blessed.

On Day 3, after a deep lucid sleep (where we activated a natural wave of DMT through our Pineal), we again rose early, this time walking along the track at the northern end of Noosa National Park.  We swam with the fish at Tea Tree, ate mangoes & watermelon and listened to the messages of spirit through the roar of the waves.  Fueled by the mornings oceanic wisdom, we alchemically melded crystalline energy from our our Crystal Light Healing® & Essence of Angels® studies to make Liquid Light Kombucha, structured Water Kefir & Activated Crystal Sprouts.  These ancient techniques maximize the Light-Trition of the food in alignment with our own Soul Signatures.

On Day 4, the weather turned dark & stormy, taking us on a deep journey inward to unveil the shadow with luminescent grace.   We started a little later today, meandering along paths at Noosa River Mouth, the Rock Wall and Noosa River.   Nature was actively bringing us messages through our every turn, from squawking Black Cockatoos to flying Stingrays… and later a butterfly gracing our lunch out on the deck.  After a love-affair with ancient knowledge and mystical teachings, it was back to food alchemy in the kitchen to use our individual ‘Soul Signature Water Kefir’ to make Buckwheat Sour Dough ahead of the following evenings fire ceremony. 

On Day 5, we stepped through the veils that limit our potential as we made our way up Mt Tinbeerwah (meaning ‘Rise Up’ in our local Aboriginal Gabi Gabi dialect).  At the top of the mountain, where via a 360 degree view we could see every sacred place that we had visited over the past week, we chose to set our Souls free.   We chose to ‘Rise Up’ and be a force of LOVE, a wave of joy and a spirit of commUNITY in service to something greater than us.  

That evening we made vegan pizza from our Buckwheat Sour Dough, devouring the mouthwatering yumminess and being fueled by the microbiome of bacteria that flourished in alignment with our individual Soul Signatures.   Around the fire we said goodbye to the old, in anticipation of a new day, a new dawn of potential.

On Saturday, November 11, 11:11, it was time to bid our farewells and take our vibrant self-love, our wildish natures, our radiant hearts and our juicy zest for living and loving back out into the world.  Our seeds of potential had now blossomed into full grown trees… bearing fruit that was rich, ripe and ready to be shared with the world.

Our November 18/19 New Moon, smack bang in the middle of two powerful SuperMoons… is a raw and primal leap into igniting our deepest passions and living rapturously sensual lives through a higher possibility of the Feminine Essence.  

As you may recall our October New Moon held a similar alchemy of energies… well now our November New Moon is flourishing this potential at our deepest core.

This is an INTENSELY emotional New Moon, but also an incredible catalyst to step into a whole new outlook for your life as we come to the end of 2017.

New Moons – General Meaning

The NEW MOON represents the beginning of our 29 day lunar month. During a New Moon, the moon is roughly sitting between the Earth & the Sun, hence the Sun is shining on the ‘dark side of the moon’, the side of the moon we never see.  As a result, we cannot see the moon as the side that faces the Earth is not illuminated.

The Moon & the Sun emanate frequencies and these energy waves influence the tides, our bodies, our emotions & our consciousness.  In addition, during a NEW MOON, both the Moon & Sun are in the same Zodiac sign… giving an exponential boost or concentration of the energy.

The SUN represents our ‘outer-world’, our identify, our personality, our ego.  It represents how we ‘shine our light’ out into the world, the present moment, our yang or masculine archetype expression.  The Sun offers us strength, courage and illuminated insight of the Soul.

The NEW MOON is a great time to set your intentions, write down goals or begin new projects for the forthcoming cycle.  Consider sitting in ceremony or personal meditation and affirming to the Universe your intentions & inner-most heartfelt desires for the cycle.

Our November NEW MOON falls in the Zodiac sign of SCORPIO.  The SCORPIO New Moon heralds a time of deeply intense dissection of your inner-world and a flourishing of your primal sensuality and rapturous passions.

This New Moon is more than intense… it is off the rickter scale… but with all deep inquiries, the light/potential/joy to be experienced at the end of the tunnel is all worth it!

Our Scorpio New Moon is calling to get naked with ourselves, to shed the masks, the fears, the illusions, the beliefs that no longer resonate to the person we are now, and our Soul-self that is yearning to be unleashed.   To do this, we must be prepared to dive deep, look down the deepest barrel of psyche, wade through the grief, the hurt, the sadness and come face-to-face with the most uncomfortable parts of ourselves that we may have consciously/unconsciously divorced ourselves from.

A gentle reminder this New Moon, be conscious of Scorpio in its ‘shadow’ which can whip up a rage of discontent, blame & devious manipulation.   Ouch, beware of the ‘sting’ of a human scorn !   Choose a higher ground this Scorpio New Moon and ‘see’ the shadow from a place of non-judgement in order to be empowered to emerge as the beautiful butterfly in full flight.

Scorpio is not only the sign of death/rebirth/transformation, a journey into the darkest recesses of self… but also influences our sexual natures, our desires and rapturous sensuality.    Through our Scorpio New Moon we are empowered to heal our sensual/sexual aspect of ourselves.   To let go of labels such as victim, traitor, cheater, abuser and the like… and instead raise ourselves into a higher octave of quantum forgiveness.   Forgiveness does not absolve others of their actions, bur rather frees you to take your power back, harness the energy of your sexuality and enter into a cosmic union with LIFE.   Watch how EVERYTHING in your life changes through forgiveness.

Just like our previous New Moon… there is a POWERFUL alchemy of celestial energies that are catalysing a deep awakening, a transcendental pull into a higher possibility of Feminine Essence.    This New Moon is being heavenly influenced by some of the following characters… Jupiter in Scorpio (breaking open/unleashing deep secrets), the Moon & Sun are in a strong trine with Chiron (the wounded healer), and the day after the New Moon Mars (Energy) & Pluto (transformation) head off in an exact square… note that Mars is the traditional ruler of Scorpio and Pluto is the modern ruler of Scorpio.

Oh I so LOVE our community. Big thanks to our gorgeous tribe for all of your emails of encouragement & support re my vision I shared in my latest newsletter… I really LOVE your juicy vibes.

Encouraged by all your uplifting notes, you had me reflecting this week on how important it is to belong to a tribe. To be a part of a community that gets you, that sees you for who you know yourself to be in your heart, and who uplifts you and supports you to shine with brilliant luminosity.

In my moments of reflections this week, I recalled a TED Talk video that I had watched recently entitled ‘The Person you really need to Marry’. Spoiler alert in case you hadn’t already guessed it, the person that you really need to marry is YOU !

Imagine ‘Marrying YOU’ and making a ceremonial commitment to yourself to:

• Marry YOU till death do you part – Commit to yourself fully for a lifetime, taking a vow of acknowledgement to LOVE yourself fully just the way you are, you are already whole & complete.
• For Richer or Poorer – once again LOVING YOURSELF in each and every moment and in any circumstance you may find yourself in over your lifetime. Money is not a value of your worth.
• In Sickness & In Health – LOVING yourself enough to give permission to make mistakes, forgive yourself and simply believe in the magic that is YOU.
• To Have & to Hold – LOVE yourself the way you want someone else to LOVE you.

Just imagine for a moment if we all took the time to ‘Marry ourselves’, how much more generous, kind, loving, patient & nurturing our world would be. We wouldn’t look to any thing or any one else to complete us, as our commitment to ourselves is our AFFIRMATION to the Universe that we are already whole & complete and simply a divine beacon of eternal LOVE.

If we married ourselves, there would be no need to binge eat, there would be no need to hurt ourselves with unkind thoughts, there would be no need to do a job that eats away at our very core and there would be no need to let our age be a barrier in fulling our deepest desires and wildest dreams. Now that I think about, I think becoming a marriage celebrant for ‘individuals marrying themselves’ sounds like a really amazing job !

Should we make the committment to ‘Marry ourselves’ in this lifetime, through self-worth, self-nurturing, self-appreciation & self-love, then our HEARTS burst wide open to authentically & most sacredly LOVE our tribe, our family, our Earthly brothers & sisters.

Marrying ourselves opens our life up to FREEDOM.  As we marry/commit to ourselves fully, we open up to our truest natures… that of LOVE.    Through LOVE we come together to support one another, grow together, uplift each other to new heights and help each other to truly shine.  Through LOVE there is no need for competition, no glass ceiling, no need to tear another person down in order to rise to the top.  Through LOVE we ultimately give more power to commUNITY and discover ourselves to be stronger, more vibrant, more radiant, healthier & happier than ever before.  And through LOVE we can truly be of service to our SiStarhood – raising each other up to shine and be divine radiance from the inside out!

Our December 3/4, 2017 FULL MOON marks the second SUPERMOON in a trilogy of FULL MOON SUPERMOONS .   The first SUPERMOON occured last month on November 3/4, the second is this month and the third takes place in January 2018.

Our December 3/4 SUPERMOON is priming us for the GALACTIC ALIGNMENT that takes place during a 5 day window – 18 to 22 December 2017, inspiring us to embrace our greater Evolutionary Purpose and helping us to step into the grandest version of the greatest vision that we have ever held for ourselves.  ♡

PS Thank you gorgeous friends for taking the time to email…as you know we are in Byron Bay celebrating my 50th Birthday & wedding anniversary milestones.. and needless to say I wrote this article before I left… and well made a couple little whoopsie errors (having a real human dyslexia moment)… kinda funny since my Sun is in Sag!  All has been corrected now, thanks beautifuls for the love & taking the time to let me know ♡

General Meaning – Full Moons 

The mid-point of our 29 day lunar cycle is marked by the Full Moon.  During a Full Moon, the Moon is sitting opposite the Sun and is fully illuminated as it reflects the light of the Sun.

The Moon & the Sun emanate frequencies and these energy waves influence the tides, and all life forms on Earth, including human behaviour & consciousness.  In addition, during a Full Moon, both the Moon & Sun are opposing each other on opposite sides of the zodiac… which can make for a challenging or intense aspect of energy but also a very potent potential as the Lunar & Solar (yin & yang) are in natural harmonic balance.

The SUN represents our ‘outer-world’, our identify, our personality, our ego.  It represents how we ‘shine our light’ out into the world, the present moment, our yang or masculine archetype expression.  The Sun offers us strength, courage and illuminated insight of the Soul.

The MOON represents our ‘inner world’, our hidden emotions, desires, our shadow-self, fears/worries and our dreams.  It represents our feelings, our unconscious beliefs, the past and our yin or feminine goddess archetype.  The Moon offers us the ability to feel, learn from the past and creatively unlock and express our essence.

During a FULL MOON, the Moon is fully illuminated as it sits in opposition to our Sun.  The energy (influenced by the current Zodiac transit) is heightened and emotions, feelings, mental processes, dreams etc are all amplified.  When the Sun & Moon oppose each other during a Full Moon, this can cause tension & uncomfortable friction, but at the same time a greater amplification of vision & potential possibility.  The Full Moon is a powerful time of gratitude, gracefully acknowledging the beauty of life itself and all you have brought into beingness.  You may feel a burning desire to express your creativity, bliss out in sensual activities & through fierce yet profoundly tender vibrations let go of any aspects of your life that no longer serve the grandest vision of your Soul.

The FULL MOON is a great time to ‘moon bathe’ – simply sit under the light of the moon & meditate – and is you breathe-in allow the moon to warm your Heart & expand the beauty of the present moment, and as you breathe-out let the light of the moon transmute that which you wish to release.   Full Moon ceremonies, either lighting a candle for yourself or coming together with others in sacred circle, is a powerful way to bring healing to the self/group and simply BE this Wave of LOVE for all Humanity & planet Earth.  I LOVE placing my crystals out under the Full Moon to cleanse their crystalline structures and infuse them with solar vibrations.

During the GEMINI Full Moon, the moon is reflecting the light of the Sun in SAGITTARIUS.  As the forces of the Sun & Moon oppose each other (Ego vs Emotions, I vs We) … our FULL MOON will have a super-charged effect as it is the second of trilogy of Supermoons over the months of November, December & finally January 2018.

Gemini is all about communication (the ruling planet is Mercury after-all)… thus on this FULL MOON you maybe guided to take a long and hard look at how you communicate and the power of your words.

Do you ‘do as you say’, or are you ‘all talk and no action ?’ Do your words to others reflect your TRUE feelings or do you use words that are pleasing to others and not really reflective of your beliefs/desires/inner-most feelings ?

This FULL MOON will be a great time to take a long and deep look inward to your Self-Talk… are your thoughts nourishing and nurturing to self, or are the hurtful, harmful, angry or downright mean-spirited ?

Alternatively, are your thoughts/mental chatter completely out of control… hence so so vivid that it is sometime difficult to discern what are your thoughts or what are they the thoughts/energy of others ?

In the media of late what has been communicated/coming to light are the collective stories via the hashtag #metoo – stories of assault, rape, humiliation and degradation at the hand of those in powerful positions.  As the FULL MOON moves into Gemini (reflecting the light of Sag) on December 3/4, it will be a time to reflect on your story and how this story/internal dialogue ‘plays out’ in your head. Have you made assumptions based on the gossip of others and have you made judgements that have possibly been unfair/unjust ?   Conversely, are you feeling the pain of the global story of #metoo and is it time to let go of being the victim and get out of the darkest shadow of the Feminine within our culture, whereby your power is relinquished and you have experienced a choking silence, a numbing fear through being submissive.

Overall, this FULL MOON is all about freely expressing yourself, and with the help of Sag, it will be the time to go out SPEAK YOUR TRUTH – party, network, meet new people and FREE yourself to be YOU !

Express what you feel in secret to those around you this Full Moon, express yourself creatively through song, poetry, words or artwork…so what a great time to make/create Christmas presents !

SUPERMOON Energy + Galactic Alignment

Galactic Alignment – 18 December 2017

Each year during our December Winter/Summer Solstice (for this generation on Earth), we experience a GALACTIC ALIGNMENT of the Earth, Sun & Galactic Centre in the Astrological Sign of Sagittarius.

This years EXACT Galactic alignment will take place on December 19, 2017 (just over 13 hours after our December New Moon) and the energy will be felt for a full 5 days leading up to our Solstice on December 22, 2017.

Our December 2017 Galactic Alignment is being amplified this year by our SuperMoon Triology, the first SuperMoon occurred on November 3/4, 2017, second SuperMoon on December 3/4, 2017 (2 weeks before our Galactic Alignment)  and the third SuperMoon on January 1/2, 2017.

SUPERMOONS are amplifiers of our energy fields and awaken higher potentials of the current planetary alignments that they are associated with.  So this years Galactic Alignment is set to be super-charged that’s for sure !

What is the Galactic Alignment ?

During a GALACTIC ALIGNMENT, our Earth, Sun & Galactic Centre (in Sagittarius) align on the Galactic Plane – the flat plane of our Milky Way Galaxy.

The energy of the GALACTIC ALIGNMENT is also amplified through our Solar Systems transition through the Photon Band/Belt of Alcyone – essentially weaving/birthing ‘The Divine Feminine’ within our hearts, minds and souls. 

The Table below lists the Date/Time of the preceding Super Moon, Date/Time of the EXACT Alignment on the Galactic Plane, Date/Time of our Summer/Winter Solstice.

Mercury Retrograde – December 2017

Mercury only takes 88 days to transit around the Sun, whereas Earth takes approximately 365 days… hence at times during Mercury’s transit, from the position of Earth, Mercury appears to be moving backwards (Retrograde) in our skies.  Please read my article on Retrograde Planets to understand more about this phenomenon.

Mercury rules all communications such as computers, phones, travel, electronics and all business/personal communications & documentations.  When mercury moves retrograde and into the darker recesses of our psyche, this may herald a time of misunderstandings, mis-communications, computers & electronics crashing and plans going haywire !  But rather than perceive Mercury Retrograde as a negative time, I prefer to work with the energy as a wonderful ‘inward’ time to attend to all the ‘RE’s’ – ie re-evaluation, re-check, re-pair, re-store and re-calibrate my visions in order to confidently move forward in conscious action when Mercury moves direct.

On December 3/4, 2017, MERCURY moved RETROGRADE in the Fire Sign of SAGITTARIUS and will move direct again on the December 23/24, 2017, in SAGITTARIUS.

PLUS…. when MERCURY moves Retrograde on the New Moon December 3/4, it will be conjunct SATURN (Mercury 29.18⁰ Sagittarius, Saturn 28.04⁰ Sagittarius) AND also within a couple of degrees of the Galactic Centre (27.06⁰ Sagittarius) – making this a very POWERFUL explorative time for everyone.  PLUS all of this will happen in the 3rd house of Communication !

As we move inward into ourselves during the GALACTIC WINDOW (Galatic Alignment through to the Solstice – 18 to 22 December), the Mercury Retrograde/Saturn/Galactic Centre conjunct energy, is adding an extra ZING… a supersize INTENSITY to the GALACTIC WINDOW.   The Mercury Retrograde/Saturn/Galactic Centre conjunct combo is pushing us to look deeply into the darkest recesses of self – our deep inner secrets, our fears, our hurts, our judgements, our pain and do a sort of self-audit, a psychoanalysis.  We are called to take a deep hard look at ALL of the dynamics at play in your life and discover ways of forgiveness, healing and vulnerablity that supports transcendence into our Divine & Sacred Awakened potential.

During this intense Mercury Retrograde/Saturn/Galactic Centre conjunct in combination with the GALACTIC WINDOW alignment, you may find ALL of your senses are heightened, the veil is thinned, your psychic awareness is enhanced and your dream state to be very intense.

The Ancestors of the Earth, and the collective consciousness fields of the Sirian Beings (7D) and Pleidians (6D) are guiding you during this time… it is a time to listen… use your communicative active LISTENING skills to truly ‘hear’ their whisperings and then be ready and willing to take conscious action as Mercury moves direct on December 23/24, and then with our final SUPERMOON on January 1/2, 2018.

Summer/Winter Solstice – 21/22 December 2017

Our 5 day ENERGETIC WINDOW  ends on the 21/22 December Solstice –  Winter Solstice (Northern Hemisphere) and the Summer Solstice (Southern Hemisphere)

The Northern Hemisphere WINTER SOLSTICE marks the SHORTEST day of the year, whilst the Southern Hemisphere SUMMER SOLSTICE marks the LONGEST Day of the year.

Due to the tilt of the Earth (see the diagram right), at our 21/22 December Solstice, the Arctic Circle (Northern Hemisphere) will experience 24 hours of darkness whereby the Sun does not rise and Antarctica (Southern Hemisphere) will experience 24 hours of light whereby the Sun does not set.

In the SOUTHERN HEMISPHERE, the December SOLSTICE it is a time of celebration, a joyous time to open you HEART and shine your LIGHT and share your LOVE through the Great Exhalation of the Cosmic Breath.  It is a time of JOY, CELEBRATION and DANCE with life as we reach the threshold of peak growth for the year.

In the NORTHERN HEMISPHERE, the December SOLSTICE it is a time of inward reflection, a time to move into our HEARTs and connect with our LIGHT within and breath in the LOVE through the Great Inhalation of the Cosmic Breath.  It is a time of inner NURTURING & REGENERATION in preparation for our emergence into the world as the days gradually grow longer.

On the evening of our 21/22 December Solstice, consider lighting a candle and honouring the LIGHT of joy, blissful abundance, compassion, peace & kindness.   Take a moment to BREATHE and unify the Solstice Polarity within your HEART.  As we then move into the threshold of a new cycle, it is a time to come together with all humanity through the LIGHT of our LOVE and send a wave of unifying peace through the Crystalline Wisdom Field of our Earth as we step into 2018.

Energetic Window – How to Work with the Energy

During our 5 day ENERGETIC WINDOW (18 December to 22 December), I recommend taking time each day to to go with in and connect with the GALACTIC EVOLUTIONARY TRIANGLE – to support you in stepping into your greater Evolutionary Purpose.

We study the GALACTIC EVOLUTIONARY TRIANGLE in depth within our Aetheric Healing™ eCourse, but here are a few principles from our eCourse to help you make the most of the energy over the next few days:

• In meditation, place your hands in ‘Prayer Position’ over your HEART (see diagram right) and focus on the rhythm of your breath.  Through your breath your Nervous System acts like a tuning fork or antennae picking up the signals of creation; signals that lie not only deep within your DNA but also the frequencies of nature, the Earth, the stars, the planets, through to Galaxies and Universes.
• Once your nervous system is in deep resonance with the field, you then connect with your Higher-Self to become the observer of your human experience within the boundless expression of the Aetheric Field.
• Allow the ‘answers’ to flood into your awareness.  Don’t push for the answers, simply surrender and ‘allow’ them to become conscious in their own good time.  It maybe a thought, a vision, an image, a sound, a colour, a symbol… and the ‘insight’ may even come to you in the hours/days after this meditation.
• Once you have ‘received’ this sacred insight/knowledge, once again in Meditation (with your hands in Prayer Position over your Heart), you then re-pattern your Nervous System to entrain with this NEW state of beingness.   Holding the vision of wholeness, abundance, compassion and kindness from a place self-love…. you retrain your Nervous System to entrain with this LOVE based frequencies in order to transcend the pain, struggle, hurts or hardships within your life.
• Your neural pathways now radiate this new energy field, which in-turn activates your DNA, changes your cellular functioning, brings your emotional/mental mind into alignment with your I AM Presence and you flow with infinite Soul Potential within the Aetheric Field… as together we transverse through this GALACTIC WINDOW.

Sending you a juicy big Wave of Love today on our waning SUPERMOON. So how did you retreat into the full moon energy over the weekend ?

My family & I were great-full to share the Full Moon with friends as it jubilantly arose over the ocean. The photo above was taken just as the Moon was peaking over the horizon and the Sun was setting in a dazzling display of pinks & oranges creating a delightful hue to the above photo – no filters on this photo… nature certainly needs no enhancement !

When I experience energy such as that captured in the photo above, it is a reflection of the innate beauty & reverent LOVE inherent in this world and the reflective emergence of a world awakening to 5d living. As we move toward the Galactic Alignment in a couple of weeks, joy is bountifully being actualised in our DNA as we return home to ourselves, one another and the Earth.

5d LIVING

5d (fifth dimensional) living, is the expression of a LOVE our hearts know is possible in EVERYTHING we do.  A LOVE that flourishes true intimacy in our relationships, that brings meaning to our work, that creates abundance in our lives and that weaves sacred Soul purpose to the artful experience the BEing of human.

Personally, my experience of living 5d is a grateful appreciation of the small things in life – and as the saying goes ‘from little things, big things grow’.

Our culture, our society, our world is often so caught up on the future, achievement of goals and running toward that carrot of happiness, that many times we have forgotten the beauty, the majesty, the simplistic perfection of the present moment.  What we focus our attention on is what we expand more of in our life… if we are always choosing to seek that elusive pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, we may just miss how delightfully magnificent the rainbow is in this present moment.  AND… that the pot of gold is actually HERE right NOW in all that you think/do/be/feel.

Its the small things, the individual strands of our existence that weave together the masterful symphony of our life’s experience.  

Some of the most joyous moments for myself in each and everyday include taking my first conscious breath of the day and being grateful for being alive; watching the sunrise in a mesmerising display of technicolour; tenderly holding my lovers face,  lips touching, souls entwining; sipping tea from my favourite cup and watching nature at play in my garden; sharing a smile with a stranger; doing something that helps another to shine; and savouring the LOVEful experience of a home cooked meal with my family – the orgasmic experience of fresh food, great conversation & the abundant gifts of our Earth.

SACRED MANIFESTATION

Talking about 5d living and the steps each of us take each and every day in BEing a pioneer, sacred architect and dream-weaver of a New Earth…. I had the pleasure of attending the book launch of two amazing friends last Friday. I feel humbled to call both Suzi Joy Coombes & Jan Winslade beloved friends. They are the LOVE our Hearts know as more beautiful. And I feel even more humbled by the fact that Suzi Joy Coombes is a delightful Teacher through our School and a reverent ray of heart-full 5d living.

Attending the launch of their book SACRED MANIFESTATION – a book compiled by Melissa Scott-Rowan, authored by 11 spiritual warriors – I couldn’t help but experience the truest, most authentic and mystical essence of Sacred Feminine Power on the night.

I truly experienced on the evening what living in 5d looks/feels like in the physical… SiStarhood was out in full radiance… a vibrancy, a rapturous touch, an alluring sensuality through the Spirit of collaboration. 

Everyone in the room was radiant from living in 5d, living from Soul. There was such a captivating beauty of people coming together, growing together, sharing together, laughing together, feeling together, crying together…. and ultimately uplifting one another to new heights of greatness.

Through collaboration, ultimately the whole room raised in such an ecstatic glow of LOVE that the whole world took on a more beautiful hue simply because of their presence!

After posting my recent Galactic Evolution-Alignment Article, I have received many requests for info about our Galactic Center (GC), our Super Galactic Centre (SGC) and The Great Attractor (TGA)… thanks everyone for your curiosity & interest:)

Here is a brief insight into these energy centres, their metaphysical resonances and greater potentialities… enjoy !

Milky Way Galaxy

Our Milky Way is a spiral Galaxy made up of many spiral arms that rotate around its centre – the Galactic Centre (GC).  

The spiral arms of our galaxy form a flat plane (the Galactic Plane)… hence from the position of Earth when we see the Milky Way Galaxy up in the night sky we see the ‘plane’ of our Galaxy – a long band of stars. 

Our Earth and hence our Sun (ie our entire Solar System) are located within the Milky Way Galaxy.  In fact our Sun is one of over 100 billion Suns within our Galaxy.  Location wise, our Solar Solar System is located approximately 27,000 light years from the Galactic Centre, in the region of the Orion-Cygnus arm.  

When we look up and see the Galactic Plane at night it appears to be separate from us, but in fact we are within the Milky Way Galaxy looking into the GC… it is just billions of stars within the Galaxy are so far apart, it creates an illusion that we are separate from the field.

Within our Galaxy, (in fact within the entire Aetheric Field), everything is within a constant state of revolution/evolution.  The Earth revolves around the Sun every 365 days, our Sun revolves around Alcyone (brightest star in the Pleiades) every 26,000 years and Alcyone revolves around Sirius every 225,000 years.   Conversely, all of these heavenly bodies – Earth, Solar System, Alcyone, Sirius – are revolving around the Galactic Centre of the Milky Way Galaxy taking 225 Million years.

The energetic field that surrounds & weaves its way through the Milky Way Galaxy is a Torus – Torroidal Field. 

Energy moves up from the centre of the Torus – the Galactic Centre, moving up and over along the energetic meridian lines of the Torus in a (fibonacci spiral formation) emanating to the other limits of the Milky Way Galaxy and then moving back up into the centre of the Torus and back into the Galactic Centre.

Our Milky Way Galaxy is part of a local grouping of 50+ Galaxies referred to as the ‘Local Group’.   Our Local Group is then part of an even greater group called the Virgo Super Cluster, which in turn is part of an even greater group called Laniakea Super Cluster.

The Galactic Centre

The Galactic Centre (GC) is a giant black & white whole that sits at the centre of our Milky Way Galaxy.  The Galactic Centre is currently positioned at 28⁰ Sagittarius (tropical) or 4⁰ Sagittarius (sidereal).

Metaphysically, the Galactic Centre is the source of our Soul’s highest aspirations & what we have chosen as the greater evolutionary purpose for our Soul in this lifetime. 

To understand the influence the Galactic Centre has upon you individually, I recommend looking at your own personal Natal Chart (your astrology chart), and the position/house of the Galactic Centre at your time of Birth – as this will give you a greater understand of your Soul Purpose in this lifetime. The Galactic Centre is a powerful transmitter of energy waves known as ‘Waves of Love’.  Since 1987, the vibrational frequency of these Waves have been increasing in intensity and will continue to do so as we move toward 2040, the Golden Age (refer to my book Shealla-Dreaming) as we quantum leap into our new 225 Million year Galactic Cycle.

These electro-magnetic cosmic emissions (Waves of Love) are pulsating the torroidal field of energy that surrounds our heart, helping us to beat our Hearts Torroidal Field in unison with the Earth’s Torroidal Feild, in unison with our Milky Way Galaxy’s Torroidal Field.  

As the ‘three Hearts’ (Earth, Human Heart, Galactic Heart) beat as ONE, we move beyond the limitation of our perceived separateness, and we embrace the Love, the Joy, the Beauty of a ONE humanity evolving into an enlightened New Earth.

Super Galactic Centre

As mentioned above, our Milky Way Galaxy is part of a local grouping of 50+ Galaxies referred to as the ‘Local Group’.   The Local Group (which includes our Milky Way Galaxy) is then part of an even greater group called the Virgo Super Cluster, which in turn is part of an even greater group called Laniakea Super Cluster.

Whilst our Solar System revolves around the Galactic Centre every 225 Million years, our entire Milky Way Galaxy (including the entire Local Group) revolves around the Super Galactic Centre (SGC) (m-87) of the Virgo Super Cluster over of period of immeasurable years (a number beyond the realm of cognition by human consciousness). 

The Super Galactic Centre is located at 2⁰ Libra (tropical) or 7⁰ Virgo (sidereal) and at an approximate distance of 53 Million light years from Earth (1 light year = 9.5 Trillion km).  Whilst the Super Galactic Centre has the mass of 30 trillion times that of our own Sun, 90% of the SGC remains hidden.

Whilst the Galactic Centre influences are individual Soul Evolutionary Purpose, the Super Galactic Centre represents the greater potential of our Higher Collective Consciousness – the Collective Evolutionary Purpose of our Galaxy & Local Group. 

The Super Galactic Centre draws us into a higher cosmic relationship with the eternal force of creation.  An interweaving, a soul-mate connection as the Feminine & Masculine fully unite as ONE, entwining together in a cosmic DNA spiral of life.

Interestingly the Super Galactic Centre lies at a right angle to the Galactic Centre.  Just like sunlight refracts of water droplets at a right angle to create a rainbow, Super Galactic Centre Cosmic Radiation Wave emissions refract through the Galactic Centre amplifying the GC Wave of LOVE streams and awakening humanity into the next cycle of Evolution.  On an individual level, these right angle emissions stimulate our Light Activation Points (refer Crystal Light Healing®), ultimately resonating our pineal gland / primordial cells pathway and activating our DNA.

Laniakea – The Great Attractor

Moving beyond the Super Galactic Centre lies the Laniakea Supercluster – Laniakea is Hawaiian for ‘Immeasurable Heaven’. 

At the centre of Laniakea Supercluster lies The Great Attractor (TGA) which is both pulling us toward her centre and simultaneously moving other Galaxies away from her centre (the infinite toric field spiral – ‘as above, so below’).  

The Great Attractor is located at 14⁰ Sagittarius (tropical) or 19⁰ Scorpio (sidereal) and at an approximate distance of 250 Million light years from our Milky Way Galaxy (1 light year = 9.5 Trillion km). 

The Great Attractor gets its name from the fact that it has a mysterious energy force that has a gravitational influence over 100,000 Galaxies, including our own Super Galactic Centre & our Milky Way Galactic Centre.  Through the cosmic ripples of the Great Attractor which bends space/light/time, we have access to the past, present & potential future. 

Awakening to the intelligence of The Great Attractor allows us to let go of the fear, imprinting, dogma, old-Earth consciousness and truly embrace a higher cosmic relationship with Creation… allowing ourselves to surrender to the eternal Great Cosmic Breath of LOVE. 

Galactic Star Map – The Human Brain

So how then does our Milky Way Galaxy, Virgo Super Cluster & Laniakea relate to the Human Brain ?

The Aetheric Field – the field of infinite intelligence – is holographic in nature.  Within a hologram, any one part of the field (micro) is a mirror reflection of the entire field (macro). 

As human beings here on Earth, revolving around the Sun, revolving around the Galactic Centre of our Milky Way Galaxy, revolving around the Virgo Super Cluster SGC (as part of a Local Group of Galaxies) and being drawn into The Great Attractor of Laniakea – we ourselves are not separate from the Aetheric Field – but rather are strands of resonance that weave the symphony of creation together.

Reflecting back on the micro/macro aspects of the holgraphic Aetheric Field, then it is easy to draw correlations of our beingness with the entire field.

Take for instance the Human Brain – science estimates there are 100 Billion Neurons within the Human Brain that act as communication pathways that process & transmit information through electrical & chemical signals. 

Is it such a leap then to see the micro of the Brain as a star map of the macro of our Milky Way Galaxy.  Once again science estimates there are 100 Billion Stars within our Milky Way Galaxy, so could our brain be a ‘star map’ or a ‘tuning fork’ that acts as a communication pathway between human consciousness and cosmic consciousness.  Surely this correlation is no longer such a big step to make in light of our understanding of Quantum Mechanics and our ability to influence and be influenced by the field on a sub-atomic level?

We can also drill down further into the body onto a cellular & atomic level.  There are approximately 100 Trillion cells in the human body… PLUS there are 100 Trillion atoms that make-up every cell of the body… PLUS there are 100 Trillion synapses in our human brain (a synapse enables the neurons of the brain to pass electrical/chemical messages to other neurons).   So based on these incredible correlations… maybe the cells/atoms of our body are both transmitters/receivers of information from the Aetheric Field… and the Brain is thus a computer/star map that acts as an intermediary transmitter between human biology and the entire Aetheric Field ?

The diagram above artistically displays the ‘neural network’ of Laniakea, how the intricate patterns of Galaxies inter-connect with each other creating a cosmic web of intelligence.  Interestingly, this web looks remarkably like a map of the Neuronal Networks of the Human Brain.  

I love how the word Laniakea is hawaiian for ‘immense heaven’… so we could say that our brain & human cellular biology enables us to experience ‘heaven’ from the inside out!

The planets within our solar system are in constant motion as they revolve around our Sun.

When we gaze into the night sky, our planets move to the East relative to the stars.  However, there are times where it appears that a planet is moving in the opposite direction, to the West, and that is when a planet is referred to as moving RETROGRADE (abbreviated to Rx).

Of course RETROGRADE planets are never actually moving backwards, the backward motion is purely an optical illusion.  Planets only have the appearance of moving backwards from our position here on Earth.

This same optical illusion you may have experienced yourself when driving past a car travelling at slower speed to your vehicle.  As you pass the car, there is a period where it appears that the car your are passing is stationary and then moving backwards.  It is an illusion created by the different speeds of the passing vehicles.

Retrograde – an Optical Illusion

Lets look at the planet Mars to help understand the illusionary optics of a planet in RETROGRADE.

Mars takes approximately 2 years to transit around the Sun, whereas our Earth takes only 1 year.  Thus there are times during Earth’s transit around the Sun where we pass by the slower moving Mars.  As the Earth ‘catches up’ to Mars, it appears that Mars slows down, stops and begins moving to the West, ie RETROGRADE.  As Earth then passes Mars, Mars then appears to slow down, stop and then continue back in its Easterly transit.

The outer planets of our solar system that move more slowly relatively to Earth, spend much longer periods in RETROGRADE, which can be 4 to 5 months within a year.

However the inner planets of our solar system that move much faster that the outer planets, are in RETROGRADE more frequently and for much shorter periods of time – anywhere from approximately 3 weeks to 3 months.

When a planet it moving retrograde, it is often represented as such through the symbol ‘Rx’.

To the right is a great graphic that demonstrates beautifully the RETROGRADE motion of a planet.  This inner white dot is the Sun, the inner red dot is the Earth and the outer red dot is Mars. (Source UFL.edu).

How does a Retrograde planet affect us ?

When a planet is Retrograde it’s energy becomes more inward.  During this inward phase, we have the opportunity to review or reflect our ‘inner-self’ as it relates to the past.  The past maybe this life, or could even relate to previous incarnation of the Soul.

What we inwardly work with during the retrograde period will depend of what the planet energetically rules, including the planets rudimentary element, its quality & archetypal vibration.

Whilst a retrograde planet can have a bad rap of creating chaos within our lives, in actual fact these ‘challenges’ produce wonderful opportunities for growth.   As the pot is ‘stirred up’ and what is unconscious comes to the surface… it represents a wonderful opportunity for healing, shifting old energy and being greater degrees of joy and self-love.

Retrograde planets – 2018

Mercury Retrogrades – 2018
23 March 2018 (Aries) – 16 April 2018 (Aries)
26 July 2018 (Leo) – 19 August 2018 (Leo)
17 November 2018 (Sagittarius) – 7 December 2018 (Scorpio)

Mercury (the planet of communication) moves retrograde (appearance of moving backwards in our sky) approximately 3 to 4 times each year and for approximately 3 weeks each time.

Mercury only takes 88 days to transit around the Sun, whereas Earth takes approximately 365 days… hence at times during Mercury’s transit, from the position of Earth, Mercury appears to be moving backwards (Retrograde) in our skies.

Mercury rules all communications such as computers, phones, travel, electronics and all business/personal communications & documentations.  When mercury moves retrograde and into the darker recesses of our psyche, this may herald a time of misunderstandings, mis-communications, computers & electronics crashing and plans going haywire !

So how do you you consciously work with Mercury Retrograde ? Just consider all the ‘RE’s’, ie re-evaluations, re-checking, re-pair, re-store etc., urring on the side of caution and making sure all details are attended to.  This is not a favourable time for signing contracts and do remember to back up your computers BEFORE mercury goes retro.

Rather than perceive Mercury Retrograde as a negative time, I prefer to work with the energy as a wonderful ‘inward’ time to recalibrate my visions and move forward in conscious action when Mercury moves direct.

Venus Retrograde – 2018
6 October 2018 (Scorpio) – 16 November 2018 (Libra)

Venus takes 225 days to do a complete revolution around our Sun and is stationary for somewhere between a few hours or 3 or 4 days. Venus moves into retrograde every 18 months or so, and then stays that way for about 6 weeks.

Venus rules all of our relationships, our relationship to self as well as love, family, friendships and our business relationships. It also is our appreciation of art, beauty and our passions.

When Venus is retro you may find that the world takes on a different hue, as what you previously experienced as beautiful now tends to be seen through different eyes. All your relationships maybe under the microscope and if you have avoided relationship then this maybe exactly what you attract. If you have slipped into old patterns (such as the glamour of overindulging in food, sex, alcohol), it is a time to also examine your relationship with substances and lifestyle choices.

It is often recommend to not take major relationship steps during a Venus retro (such as engagement or marriage or even divorce or quitting a job)… but to objectively explore your emotions and feelings as they come up and then to move forward consciously when Venus goes direct.

Mars Retrograde – 2018
27 June 2018 (Aquarius) – 27 August 2018 (Capricorn)

Mars takes approximately 2 years (687 days) to do a complete revolution around our Sun. Mars moves into retrograde every 2 years + 2 months, and then stays that way for about 55 to 80 days.

Mars rules energy, passion, action, initiative and asserting yourself out in the world.

When Mars is retrograde, this ‘action oriented’ planets energy lacks vitality as the energy is inverted inward. It can at times feel as if you are paddling upstream, with endless delays, roadblocks, setbacks and detours dotting your path. For some, these frustrations may give light to anger and resentment, which may result in outbursts and emotional/physical explosions that aren’t pretty. It is a bit like capping an active volcano, if the internal pressure builds too much the end result could be very messy !

Rather than burn up your internal energy through anger, war & fighting during Mars Retrograde, it would be better to allow and ‘see’ how these delays can serve you. Initiating new projects (eg relationships, contracts, new business deals etc..) during Mars retro most often leads to dead-ends or endless delays, it is better to reflect on or rework existing projects. If set-back do arise, don’t force issues, just go with flow and work with any delays in the knowing that all happens in divine timing for the greater good of all.

Jupiter Retrograde – 2018
9 March 2018 (Scorpio) – 10 July 2018 (Scorpio)

Jupiter takes around 12 years to do a complete revolution around our Sun. Jupiter moves into retrograde approximately every year for around 120 days.

Jupiter rules expansion, freedom, wisdom, travel, foreign affairs, abundance and good luck. It is a social and jolly planet, working with the collective as it spends about 1 year in every sign of the zodiac.

When Jupiter is retro, this energy is reflected inward and we are guided to reevaluate our spiritual beliefs, our societal ethics and our philosophical approach to life. It is a time of truth-seeking and finding the deeper meaning in all aspects of life.

Travel plans can be delayed or cancelled during Jupiter retro. This is a time to slow down and give focus to your personal belief systems and understandings of success and abundance. This is also not the best time to take big risks, or spend up big.. but rather do your research, ponder and follow your inner-guidance when Jupiter moves direct.

Saturn Retrograde – 2018
18 April 2018 (Capricorn) – 6 September 2018 (Capricorn)

Saturn takes approximately 29.5 years to do a complete revolution around our Sun. Saturn moves into retrograde approximately every year for around 140 days.

Saturn is often referred to as the planet of karma, discipline or the dispenser of justice. It is a factual planet that induces us to face our personal reality, and is thorough, unrelenting and breaks down our control issues. I like to view Saturn as a wise old sage.

When Saturn is retro, it is not a time to take short-cuts, but an opportunity to take things slowly and do it correctly the first time around.. or you may find you will be revisiting the project over and over again. It is a time to understand your limitations or limitations of those around you and practice patience. Authority maybe also be an issue at this time, and you may feel like ‘fighting the system’ be it in your family, place of work or the greater sphere of community or government. When Saturn is retrograde there also tends to be a lack of boundaries.. so be mindful of saying YES to everything and then feeling overwhelmed and a loss of power.

Take the opportunity during Saturn retro to do some deep soul searching, assess what needs to change and prepare for this change once Saturn moves direct. It is a time to assess our failures, learn from our mistakes and emerge from the introspection with wisdom and understanding.

Uranus Retrograde – 2018
7 August 2018 (Taurus) – 7 January 2019 (Aries)

Uranus takes about 84 years to do a complete revolution around our Sun, thus spending about 7 years in each sign of the Zodiac. Uranus moves into retrograde approximately every year for around 148 days.

With Uranus, simply ‘expect the unexpected’. Uranus is like a wildcard of the pack, unpredictable, original and out of the box thinking. Uranus can spark revolutions as it has its gaze on more humanitarian, freedom loving and unconventional pursuits.

When Uranus is retro, chaos is often the order of the day as you expect the unexpected of an unexpectable planet ! If you are shy you may find yourself at the centre of attention, or if you are an extrovert you may find yourself hiding away. You may find your personality or behavior quite altered at this time, as your actions in the world oppose what others normally experience or expect of you.

Take the opportunity during Uranus retro to explore inwardly what freedom means to you and what you need to change to be this freedom. Intuition is heightened during this self-help psychological assessment and real ‘ah-ha’ moments are often the order of the day.

Neptune Retrograde – 2018
19 June 2018 (Pisces) – 25 November 2018 (Pisces)

Neptune takes about 165 years to do a complete revolution around our Sun, thus spending about 14 years in each sign of the Zodiac. Neptune moves into retrograde approximately every year for around 150 days.

Neptune is often referred to as the ‘higher octave’ cousin of Venus. Thus our values for love, beauty and passions become more ‘universal’ through Neptune. Neptune is the planet of the mysterious, the illusionary and beyond the confines of the program. It calls us to gain insights from higher states of conscious/awareness/dream state. In it’s polarity, Neptune can also represent the hypnotic trance like state of delusion.

When Neptune is retrograde, people tend to focus more on their dreams, intuition and all creative pursuits. If you are usually in a ‘dream state’ you may find that you work with retro energy to bring this dream into physical form. If you deny the dream state, then retro may induce escapism and the taking of mind-altering substances to block the dream or movie from playing out.

During Neptune retro, turn into the inner-self and be receptive to the truth. The illusion is exposed and reality is factual. This is a great time to foster the inner-creative and bring it into physical form.

Pluto Retrograde – 2018
22 April 2018 (Capricorn) – 1 October 2018 (Capricorn)

Pluto takes 248 years to do a complete revolution around our Sun, thus spending on average about 21 years (12 to 31 years) in each sign of the Zodiac. Pluto moves into retrograde approximately every year for around 5 or 6 months.

PLUTO is the outer most planet in our solar system (and yes it is still a planet in astrology).. and its energy brings about transformation. Pluto induces us to look into the deep recesses of our subconscious and transform that which doesn’t serve. Of course we all have free will & choice… but Pluto has a unique way of pushing your buttons and ‘making you’ transform or else ! Pluto can be pretty intense, but it can also make things happen ! Pluto is about death & birth, destruction & reformation, and endings & beginnings.

When Pluto is retrograde, we are guided to turn inward to our own personal shadow side and take a long hard look at the good, the bad and the ugly. There is no hiding as we ‘see’ our desires and our feelings around power, control and money. And we also ‘see’ our motivation for our desires, ie is it for revenge is it because we really want it ! It is also a time to revisit some of those old wounds, perceived limitations and purge then out of our lives.

During Pluto retro, it is a time to transcend control and acknowledge that transformation will take place. We can flow with the destruction that may come with this inner-phase or we can move through it kicking and screaming… and well simply cause even more unnecessary pain and hurt within our lives.

Due to the tilt in our Earth’s axis of rotation, throughout the calendar year the Sun appears to rise and fall in different regions of the Sky, creating the Seasons of the year.  This is not due to the Sun moving, but due to the Earth moving relative to the Sun.

The four season’s come into fruition by the two Equinox’s and the two Solstices each Solar year.  Below is a summary of the energy of the Equinoxes & Solstices per solar year and the potential they create within our lives here on Earth.

Also, please refer to my article ‘The Cosmic Breath‘, on how the four seasons of our solar year represent the flow of the inhalation and exhalation of the great Breath of Creation.

The Solstice’s

In each solar year we have two Solstice’s, one in June (usually around the 20/21st) and one in December (usually around the 21/22nd).

As the Sun enters Cancer toward the end of June we have the Winter Solstice (Southern Hemisphere) and Summer Solstice (Northern Hemisphere).  And then as the Sun enters Capricorn toward the end of December we have the Summer Solstice (Southern Hemisphere) and the Winter Solstice (Northern Hemisphere).

The Longest day of the year (longest day of sunlight) is the June Summer Solstice (Northern Hemisphere) and the December Summer Solstice (Southern Hemisphere).  Conversely the Shortest day of the year (shortest hours of sunlight) is the June Winter Solstice (Southern Hemisphere) and the December Winter Solstice (Northern Hemisphere).

As we make the journey from the Winter Solstice into the Summer Solstice we are being energised from the Sun in our Heart through to the Divine Heart of all creation.  We reach the peak of growth at the Summer Solstice – and it is a time of celebration for all.  As the days post Summer Solstice become shorter, it is a time of inner reflection/review as we move toward the next cycle.

As we make the journey from the Summer Solstice into the Winter Solstice, it is a time of inner reflection, turning to the Sun within, our solar selves.  It is a time to gain strength from within, and get ready to embark on the  new journey as our days of daylight get longer beyond the Winter Solstice and we are being energised from within.

Overall, where ever you are on Earth, the Summer/Winter Solstice represents an opportunity to celebrate your LIGHT.  As we move into the threshold of a new cycle, it is a time to come together with all humanity through the LOVE of our LIGHT and send a wave of unifying peace through the Crystalline Wisdom Field of our Earth.

During the Solstice, consider lighting a candle and honouring the LIGHT of joy, blissful abundance, compassion, peace and kindness illuminating your Heart and entraining the field of the Infinite All – OmAhOm.

Please note:  The references of above to the houses of the Zodiac for the Equinox & Solstice do not refer to Sidereal astrology which takes into account the actual position of the Sun in relationship to the Zodiac Houses.

The Equinox’s

In each solar year we have two Equinox’s, one in March (usually around the 20/21st) and one in September (usually around the 22/23rd).

As the Sun enters Aries toward the end of March we have the Autumn (Fall) Equinox in the Southern Hemisphere and Spring (Vernal) Equinox in the Northern Hemisphere.  And then as the Sun enters Libra toward the end of September we have the Spring (Vernal) Equinox in the Southern Hemisphere and the Autumn (Fall) Equinox in the Northern Hemisphere.

The Equinox is where day and night are of equal length – the energies coming together as one – Heaven & Earth, Spirit & Matter.  At the Spring Equinox we prepare for our re-birth and awakening from the sleep of winter (the great exhalation of the Cosmic Breath) and at the Autumn Equinox we are bringing our energy inward, in preparation for the rest ahead (the great inhalation of the Cosmic Breath).  It is these polarities that make up the whole.

The Equinox is a powerful portal gateway of ascension into higher levels of consciousness.  At this time of unity, the feminine & masculine merge as one, opening opportunities to unify duality within our selves, and expand our awareness to greater dimensional/light octave levels.

Energetically at the time of the Equinox, the Sun crosses the Equator to enter the Northern Hemisphere (March Equinox) or alternatively the Southern Hemisphere (September Equinox).  Hence at the Equinox, as the Sun sits over the Equator, both the Southern & Northern Hemispheres are receiving the sun’s rays equally. Night and day are approximately equal in length. The word equinox comes from the Latin aequus (equal) and nox (night).

In addition, at the time of the Equinox, as the Sun is over the Equator, Earth’s Heart (Hertz) Frequency increases creating an inverse decrease in Earth’s magnetic field.   Ultimately, as the veil between the physical/spiritual worlds diminish, through our HEARTS a portal opens into DIVINE BEingness and we are offered an opportunity to step into illuminated states of FREEDOM, JOY & BLISS.

During our Equinox (& Solstice) alignments, as the Earth’s Heart Beat increases and the magnetic field decreases, we also come one step closer to a full Earth Pole Reversal – whereby humanity’s individual/collective Heart Toric fields (in combination with Galactic Toric Field) that will quantum leap ALL life forms into the next phase of evolution.

Equinoxes for 2018

In each solar year we have two Equinox’s, one in March (usually around the 20/21st) and one in September (usually around the 22/23rd).

The Equinox is where day and night are of equal length – the energies coming together as one – Heaven & Earth, Spirit & Matter.  As the Spring Equinox we prepare for our re-birth and awakening from the sleep of winter (the great exhalation of the Cosmic Breath) and at the Autumn Equinox we are bringing our energy inward, in preparation for the rest ahead (the great inhalation of the Cosmic Breath).  It is these polarities that make up the whole.

Solstices for 2018

In each solar year we have two Solstice’s, one in June (usually around the 20/21st) and one in December (usually around the 21/22nd).

The Longest day of the year (longest day of sunlight) is the June Summer Solstice (Northern Hemisphere) and the December Summer Solstice (Southern Hemisphere).  Conversely the Shortest day of the year (shortest hours of sunlight) is the June Winter Solstice (Southern Hemisphere) and the December Winter Solstice (Northern Hemisphere).

Where ever you are on Earth, the Summer/Winter Solstice represents an opportunity to celebrate your LIGHT.  As we move into the threshold of a new cycle, it is a time to come together with all humanity through the LOVE of our LIGHT and send a wave of unifying peace through the Crystalline Wisdom Field of our Earth.

BLUE MOONS

We often use the term ‘once in a blue moon’ to describe a situation or event that is rare.  But where did this saying come from ?

We metaphorically use this expression of BLUE MOON as it relates to one of the following lunar events:

1. A month in which there are 2 Full Moons.   A calendar month usually has 1 Full Moon,  but where a 2nd Full Moon occurs within the month this is called a BLUE MOON.  This is the most popular definition of a BLUE MOON.

2. The 3rd Full Moon in a season of 4 Full Moons.  There are usually 3 Full Moons within a season, but where a season contains 4 Full Moons, the 3rd of 4 Full Moons is called a BLUE MOON.   Note that a season is defined as the time period between a solstice & equinox or equinox & solstice.

Whilst the term ‘once in a blue moon’ doesn’t really relate to the colour of the moon, the moon can take on a blueish appearance at times due to changes in atmospheric conditions such as smokey haze or dust particles.

BLUE MOON – 2nd Full Moon in Calendar Month

How did the 2nd Full Moon in a Calendar Month come to be called a BLUE MOON ?
The March 1946 edition of  Sky and Telescope magazine, contained an article by James Hugh Pruett entitled “Once in a Blue Moon”.  In this article where he inadvertently misinterpreted/simplified the 1937 Maine Farmers Almanac definition of BLUE MOON:  “Seven times in 19 years there were – and still are – 13 full moons in a year. This gives 11 months with one full moon each and one with two. This second in a month, so I interpret it, was called Blue Moon.”   As a side note here, interestingly 1937 only had 12 full moons !

EarthSky’s Deborah Byrd happened upon a copy of this old 1946 issue of Sky and Telescope in the stacks of the Peridier Library at the University of Texas Astronomy Department in the late 1970s. Afterward, she began using the term Blue Moon to describe the second full moon in a calendar month on the radio. Later, this definition of Blue Moon was also popularized by a book for children by Margot McLoon-Basta and Alice Sigel, called “Kids’ World Almanac of Records and Facts,” published in New York by World Almanac Publications, in 1985. The second-full-moon-in-a-month definition was also used in the board game Trivial Pursuit.

Thus whilst this definition of BLUE MOON is not technically correct, it is the most popular definition and most commonly used.

BLUE MOON – 3rd of 4 Full Moons in a Season

The Maine Farmer’s Almanac defined a Blue Moon as an extra full moon that occurred in a season (and their definition of season related to winter, spring, fall, summer).  A season normally has 3 full moons, however if there are 4 full moons in a season then the third full moon is called the BLUE MOON and the 4th moon is referred to as the last of that season.

The Moon orbits Earth in an elliptical orbit (not a perfect circle), hence the distance of the Moon from the Earth varies throughout the year… from between 356,500 km (221,500 mi) at the Perigee and 406,700 km (252,700 mi) at the Apogee… a variation of 50,200 km (31,200 mi).

When a Full Moon or New Moon coincides with being Perigee (closest to Earth), it is deemed a SUPERMOON.  Conversely, when a Full Moon or New Moon coincides with being Apogee (furthest from Earth), it is deemed a MICROMOON.

SUPER MOONS – Definition

The term ‘SuperMoon’ was coined by Richard Nolle in 1979 – as follows:

“…a new or full moon which occurs with the Moon at or near (within 90% of) its closest approach to Earth in a given (yearly) orbit (perigee). In short, Earth, Moon and Sun are all in a line, with Moon in its nearest approach to Earth..”

And a slightly broader definition of SuperMoon by Fred Espenak as follows:

“…a new or full moon which occurs with the Moon at or near (within 90% of) its closest approach to Earth in a currently monthly orbit, relative to the most recent perigee and the upcoming apogee.”

The term supermoon is not used within the astronomical community, which uses the term perigee-syzygy or perigee full/new moon.  Perigee is the point at which the Moon is closest in its orbit to the Earth, and syzygy is when the Earth, the Moon and the Sun are aligned.

Super Moons of 2018

There will be two FULL MOON SuperMoons & three NEW MOON SuperMoons during 2018:

2 January 2018 – Full Moon SuperMoon (closest & largest Full SuperMoon 2018)
31 January 2018 – Full Moon SuperMoon (+ Blue Moon + Lunar Eclipse)
14 June 2018 – New Moon SuperMoon
13 July 2018 – New Moon SuperMoon (closest & largest New SuperMoon 2018)
11 August 2018 – New Moon SuperMoon

Effects of Super Moons – Physical

Referring to the images right (click to enlarge), around each Full Moon and New Moon – when the Sun, Earth & Moon are located more or less on a line in space – the gravitational pull on the Earths Oceans are affected, hence the range between high and low tides is greatest.   These tides are referred to as SPRING TIDES.

During a SUPERMOON, due to the Moon being especially close to Earth, this alignment and greater gravitational pull of the Moon on Earths Oceans accentuates our Spring Tides even more… giving us an even HIGHER High Tide and an even LOWER Low Tide than normal.   These amplified tides are referred to as PERIGEE SPRING TIDES.

It is unlikely that Perigee Spring Tides will cause flooding… unless of course the tides are associated with a strong weather system.

But it is interesting to note, that historically after a SUPERMOON (either Perigee Full or New Moon), strong correlations have been drawn between SUPERMOON energy and Earthquakes, Storm Cells & dramatic changes in weather patterns.

Effects of Super Moons – Energetic

Whilst Super Moons have been shown to affect the tides above, just like the Earth’s Surface humans are also made up of over 70% water… hence the gravitation pull of the Moon also affects us !

SUPERMOONS ‘amplify’ and affect our physical, emotion & mental states of beingness.

Based on the SUPERMOONS alignments with other planets, constellations & energetic bodies within our cosmos.. as well as the SUPERMOONS position within our own Astrological Charts, SUPERMOONS affect each individual differently.  But what can generally be said is that SUPERMOONS are amplifiers of our energy fields and awaken higher potentials of the current planetary alignments that they are associated with.

What does this all mean ?
Energy runs high during a SUPERMOON… you may feel more emotional, electric, experience sleep disturbances or have expressive / lucid dreams. You may also find your intuition is heightened, synchronicity more pronounced and you become more aware or sensitive to the energy of the environment / people / plants / animals… actually everything !

The best way to balance with this highly charged energy is to Earth yourself by walking bare foot on the ground, hiking in nature, swimming in a lake or the ocean or connecting with Crystals / Earths Crystalline Field.

Does a Super Moon look different ?

When comparing a SUPERMOON to a MICRO Moon, the Moon’s luminosity will be up to 30% brighter and the Moon will appear from Earth to be up to 14% Bigger.

MICRO MOONS – Definition

A MICROMOON is the Astrological term for the Moon (New Moon or Full Moon) when it is the furthest away from the Earth.  Astronomers call these moons ‘Apogee Moon’ meaning ‘away from Earth’.

Micro Moon is the term used by Astrologers, but Astromers refer to this as a ‘Apogee Moon’.

This years MICROMOON will fall on the 27 July 2018 (less than a day before the 28 July 2018 FULL MOON). 

On the 27  July 2018, the Moon will lie about 406,222 km from Earth, compared with the closest FULL MOON SuperMoon on the 2 January 2018 at 356,846 km from Earth.

Lunar Eclipse

A Lunar Eclipse occurs when the Moon is full and the Earth blocks the Suns rays from partially/fully reaching the Moon, thus the Moon is cast within the Earth’s shadow (click on image right to enlarge).

Here are a few definitions to bring a deeper understanding of the terms used when describing Lunar Eclipses:

TOTAL LUNAR ECLIPSE:  A Total Lunar Eclipse occurs on the Full Moon when the Earth’s Umbra, totally obscures all of the Moon’s visible surface.

PARTIAL LUNAR ECLIPSE:  A Partial Lunar Eclipse occurs on the Full Moon, whereby only part of the Moons surface is obscured by the Earths Umbra.

PENUMBRAL LUNAR ECLIPSE: A Partial Solar Eclipse occurs on the Full Moon whereby the moon moves through the penumbral part of the Earth’s shadow hence this eclipse is very feint.

SUNRISE SELENION: A Full Moon Sunrise Selenion is a rare event where the moon and the rising sun can be seen simultaneously. During a lunar eclipse, the sun and moon are exactly 180 degrees apart in the sky. In a perfect alignment like this (called a “syzygy”), such an observation would seem impossible. But thanks to Earth’s atmosphere, the images of both the sun and moon are apparently lifted above the horizon by atmospheric refraction. This allows people on Earth to see the sun for several extra minutes before it actually has risen and the moon for several extra minutes after it has actually set…. thus the opportunity exists to see both the moon and the sun during the Eclipse.

When a Lunar Eclipse is a TOTAL Eclipse, the energy potential is at its peak.  When a Lunar Eclipse is only a PARTIAL or PENUMBRAL Eclipse, the energetic influence is slightly weakened, though still very powerful.

A Lunar Eclipse provides a quantum opportunity to release deep-seated wounds, move beyond old fears and to transcend negative patterns or traits within the shadow self.  It is time to ECLIPSE anything that maybe holding you back.

During a Lunar Eclipse it is an opportune time to do much inner-work, and illuminate yourself from the inside-out.

You will be inspired during the Eclipse/Full Moon to open your gifts to higher degrees of frequency and anchor these on the Earthly plane.  It is time to take ownership and acknowledge your divine magnificence and shine brightly from within.

The specific energy of a Lunar Eclipse is also dependant on what sign of the zodiac the Sun & Moon (who are in opposition during a Full Moon) are transiting during the Eclipse.

Solar Eclipse

A Solar Eclipse occurs on the New Moon, whereby the Moon moves between the Earth and Sun, obscuring Earth’s view of the Sun – hence the Sun, Moon & Earth are in a straight line (click on image right to enlarge).

Here are a few definitions to bring a deeper understanding of the terms used when describing Solar Eclipses:

TOTAL SOLAR ECLIPSE:  A Total Solar Eclipse occurs on the New Moon, whereby the Moon moves between the Earth and Sun, TOTALLY obscuring Earth’s view of the Sun.  A Total Solar Eclipse can only be seen in a small region on Earth along its transit line.  Remember, never look at a Solar Eclipse with the naked eye as it can damage your retina – use Eclipse glasses always.

ANNULAR SOLAR ECLIPSE:  An Annular Solar Eclipse occurs on the New Moon, whereby the Moon moves between the Earth and Sun and the Sun appears behind the Moon as a very bright ring of light (an annulus, often referred to as the ‘ring of fire’) around the dark disk of the Moon, as the apparent size of the Moon is smaller than that of the Sun.

PARTIAL ECLIPSE: A Partial Solar Eclipse occurs on the New Moon, whereby the Moon moves between the Earth and Sun and the Sun is only PARTIALLY obscured by the Moon as the Moon & Sun aren’t directly in line.   A Partial eclipse is also seen from the majority of regions of Earth outside the route of the TOTAL or ANNULAR Solar Eclipse.  Note also that some eclipses can only be seen as a partial eclipse, because the umbra passes above the Earth’s polar regions and never intersects Earth’s surface.

HYBRID ECLIPSE:  A Hybrid Solar Eclipse is a rare eclipse where from some regions of Earth it appears as a TOTAL ECLIPSE where from other regions it appears as an ANNULAR Eclipse.

When a Solar Eclipse is a TOTAL Eclipse, the energy potential is at its peak.  When a Solar Eclipse is only a PARTIAL or ANNULAR Eclipse, the energetic influence is slightly weakened, though still very powerful.

The energy of a Solar Eclipse ‘obscures’ our vision forward, such that we can take time to reflect on the present and truthfully see how this relates to our past.

The insights gained are not about dragging up old energy, or reliving painful events or experiences, but rather to positively reassess where you have been and use this knowledge to make quantum leaps on your path moving forward.

Whilst a Solar Eclipse can create upheaval in your life, this ‘forced’ opportunity to reassess or re-evaluate your life provides a profound opportunity to leap into a new sphere of existence beyond your perceived limitations.

The specific energy of a Solar Eclipse is also dependant on what sign of the zodiac the Sun & Moon (who are in conjunction during a New Moon) are transiting during the Eclipse.

New Moons & Full Moons 2018

The Moon & the Sun emanate frequencies and these energy waves influence the tides, and all life forms on Earth, including human behaviour, our emotional/mental responses and our greater spiritual potential.

The SUN represents our ‘outer-world’, our identify, our personality, our ego.  It represents how we ‘shine our light’ out into the world, the present moment, our yang or masculine archetype expression.  The Sun offers us strength, courage and illuminated insight of the Soul.

The MOON represents our ‘inner world’, our hidden emotions, desires, our shadow-self, fears/worries and our dreams.  It represents our feelings, our unconscious beliefs, the past and our yin or feminine goddess archetype.  The Moon offers us the ability to feel, learn from the past and creatively unlock and express our essence.

The NEW MOON represents the beginning of our 29 day lunar month. During a New Moon, the moon is roughly sitting between the Earth & the Sun, hence the Sun is shining on the ‘dark side of the moon’, the side of the moon we never see.  As a result, we cannot see the moon as the side that faces the Earth is not illuminated. 

During a NEW MOON, the side of the moon that remains invisible to us here on Earth is being illuminated by the Sun.  Thus our own ‘invisible’ side, our inner feelings, emotions and desires are also being illuminated during a new moon.  During this illumination, we are given a window of opportunity to start a fresh, let go of the energy of the previous cycle and set our intentions, dreams & inner-most desires into conscious action.  In addition, during a NEW MOON, both the Moon & Sun are in the same Zodiac sign… giving an exponential boost or concentration of the energy.

The NEW MOON is a great time to set your intentions, write down goals or begin new projects for the forthcoming cycle. Consider sitting in ceremony or personal meditation and affirming to the Universe your intentions & inner-most heartfelt desires for the cycle.

The mid-point of our 29 day lunar cycle is marked by the FULL MOON.  During a Full Moon, the Moon is sitting opposite the Sun and is fully illuminated as it reflects the light of the Sun.  In addition, during a FULL MOON, both the Moon & Sun are opposing each other on opposite sides of the zodiac… which can make for a challenging or intense aspect of energy but also a very potent potential as the Lunar & Solar (yin & yang) are in natural harmonic balance.

During a FULL MOON, there is an amplification of energy and a heightened experience of emotions, feelings, mental processes, dreams etc.  The Full Moon is a powerful time of gratitude, gracefully acknowledging the beauty of life itself and all you have brought into beingness.  You may feel a burning desire to express your creativity, bliss out in sensual activities & through fierce yet profoundly tender vibrations let go of any aspects of your life that no longer serve the grandest vision of your Soul.

The FULL MOON is a great time to ‘moon bathe’ – simply sit under the light of the moon & meditate – and is you breathe-in allow the moon to warm your Heart & expand the beauty of the present moment, and as you breathe-out let the light of the moon transmute that which you wish to release.   Full Moon ceremonies, either lighting a candle for yourself or coming together with others in sacred circle, is a powerful way to bring healing to the self/group and simply BE this Wave of LOVE for all Humanity & planet Earth.  I LOVE placing my crystals out under the Full Moon to cleanse their crystalline structures and infuse them with solar vibrations.

Our MicroMoon for 2018 falls mid year:

• 27 July 2018 (less than a day before the 28 July 2018 FULL MOON). 

On the 27  July 2018, the Moon will lie about 406,222 km from Earth, compared with the closest FULL MOON SuperMoon on the 2 January 2018 at 356,846 km from Earth.

Lunar & Solar Eclipses 2018

Please read my article on the 2018 -Energy of Lunar & Solar Eclipses to understand how to work with these energetic potentials.

A Lunar Eclipse occurs when the Moon is full and the Earth blocks the Suns rays from partially/fully reaching the Moon, hence the Moon is cast within the Earth’s shadow. A Lunar Eclipse provides a quantum opportunity to release deep-seated wounds, move beyond old fears and to transcend negative patterns or traits within the shadow self.  It is time to ECLIPSE anything that maybe holding you back.

During a Lunar Eclipse it is an opportune time to do much inner-work, and illuminate yourself from the inside-out. You will be inspired to take ownership of your gifts, acknowledge your divine magnificence and shine brightly from within.

A Solar Eclipse occurs on the New Moon, whereby the Moon moves between the Earth and Sun, obscuring Earth’s view of the Sun. The energy of a Solar Eclipse ‘obscures’ our vision forward, such that we can take time to reflect on the present and truthfully see how this relates to our past.

The insights gained are not about dragging up old energy, or reliving painful events or experiences, but rather to positively reassess where you have been and use this knowledge to make quantum leaps on your path moving forward.

Whilst a Solar Eclipse can create upheaval in your life, this ‘forced’ opportunity to reassess or re-evaluate your life provides a profound opportunity to leap into a new sphere of existence beyond your perceived limitations.

Equinoxes & Solstices 2018

Due to the tilt in our Earth’s axis of rotation, throughout the calendar year the Sun appears to rise and fall in different regions of the Sky, creating the Seasons of the year.  This is not of course due to the Sun moving, but due to the Earth moving relative to the Sun.

The four season’s come into fruition by the two Equinox’s and the two Solstices each Solar year.  Please see my article on the Energy of the Equinoxes & Solstices per solar year and the potential they create within our lives here on Earth.

Equinoxes for 2018
In each solar year we have two Equinox’s, one in March (usually around the 20/21st) and one in September (usually around the 22/23rd).

The Equinox is where day and night are of equal length – the energies coming together as one – Heaven & Earth, Spirit & Matter.  As the Spring Equinox we prepare for our re-birth and awakening from the sleep of winter (the great exhalation of the Cosmic Breath) and at the Autumn Equinox we are bringing our energy inward, in preparation for the rest ahead (the great inhalation of the Cosmic Breath).  It is these polarities that make up the whole.

Solstices for 2018
In each solar year we have two Solstice’s, one in June (usually around the 20/21st) and one in December (usually around the 21/22nd).

The Longest day of the year (longest day of sunlight) is the June Summer Solstice (Northern Hemisphere) and the December Summer Solstice (Southern Hemisphere).  Conversely the Shortest day of the year (shortest hours of sunlight) is the June Winter Solstice (Southern Hemisphere) and the December Winter Solstice (Northern Hemisphere).

Where ever you are on Earth, the Summer/Winter Solstice represents an opportunity to celebrate your LIGHT.  As we move into the threshold of a new cycle, it is a time to come together with all humanity through the LOVE of our LIGHT and send a wave of unifying peace through the Crystalline Wisdom Field of our Earth.

Retrograde Planets – 2018

Mercury Retrogrades – 2018
23 March 2018 (Aries) – 16 April 2018 (Aries)
26 July 2018 (Leo) – 19 August 2018 (Leo)
17 November 2018 (Sagittarius) – 7 December 2018 (Scorpio)

Mercury (the planet of communication) moves retrograde (appearance of moving backwards in our sky) approximately 3 to 4 times each year and for approximately 3 weeks each time.

Mercury only takes 88 days to transit around the Sun, whereas Earth takes approximately 365 days… hence at times during Mercury’s transit, from the position of Earth, Mercury appears to be moving backwards (Retrograde) in our skies.

Mercury rules all communications such as computers, phones, travel, electronics and all business/personal communications & documentations.  When mercury moves retrograde and into the darker recesses of our psyche, this may herald a time of misunderstandings, mis-communications, computers & electronics crashing and plans going haywire !

So how do you you consciously work with Mercury Retrograde ? Just consider all the ‘RE’s’, ie re-evaluations, re-checking, re-pair, re-store etc., urring on the side of caution and making sure all details are attended to.  This is not a favourable time for signing contracts and do remember to back up your computers BEFORE mercury goes retro.

Rather than perceive Mercury Retrograde as a negative time, I prefer to work with the energy as a wonderful ‘inward’ time to recalibrate my visions and move forward in conscious action when Mercury moves direct.

Venus Retrograde – 2018
6 October 2018 (Scorpio) – 16 November 2018 (Libra)

Venus takes 225 days to do a complete revolution around our Sun and is stationary for somewhere between a few hours or 3 or 4 days. Venus moves into retrograde every 18 months or so, and then stays that way for about 6 weeks.

Venus rules all of our relationships, our relationship to self as well as love, family, friendships and our business relationships. It also is our appreciation of art, beauty and our passions.

When Venus is retro you may find that the world takes on a different hue, as what you previously experienced as beautiful now tends to be seen through different eyes. All your relationships maybe under the microscope and if you have avoided relationship then this maybe exactly what you attract. If you have slipped into old patterns (such as the glamour of overindulging in food, sex, alcohol), it is a time to also examine your relationship with substances and lifestyle choices.

It is often recommend to not take major relationship steps during a Venus retro (such as engagement or marriage or even divorce or quitting a job)… but to objectively explore your emotions and feelings as they come up and then to move forward consciously when Venus goes direct.

Mars Retrograde – 2018
27 June 2018 (Aquarius) – 27 August 2018 (Capricorn)

Mars takes approximately 2 years (687 days) to do a complete revolution around our Sun. Mars moves into retrograde every 2 years + 2 months, and then stays that way for about 55 to 80 days.

Mars rules energy, passion, action, initiative and asserting yourself out in the world.

When Mars is retrograde, this ‘action oriented’ planets energy lacks vitality as the energy is inverted inward. It can at times feel as if you are paddling upstream, with endless delays, roadblocks, setbacks and detours dotting your path. For some, these frustrations may give light to anger and resentment, which may result in outbursts and emotional/physical explosions that aren’t pretty. It is a bit like capping an active volcano, if the internal pressure builds too much the end result could be very messy !

Rather than burn up your internal energy through anger, war & fighting during Mars Retrograde, it would be better to allow and ‘see’ how these delays can serve you. Initiating new projects (eg relationships, contracts, new business deals etc..) during Mars retro most often leads to dead-ends or endless delays, it is better to reflect on or rework existing projects. If set-back do arise, don’t force issues, just go with flow and work with any delays in the knowing that all happens in divine timing for the greater good of all.

Jupiter Retrograde – 2018
9 March 2018 (Scorpio) – 10 July 2018 (Scorpio)

Jupiter takes around 12 years to do a complete revolution around our Sun. Jupiter moves into retrograde approximately every year for around 120 days.

Jupiter rules expansion, freedom, wisdom, travel, foreign affairs, abundance and good luck. It is a social and jolly planet, working with the collective as it spends about 1 year in every sign of the zodiac.

When Jupiter is retro, this energy is reflected inward and we are guided to reevaluate our spiritual beliefs, our societal ethics and our philosophical approach to life. It is a time of truth-seeking and finding the deeper meaning in all aspects of life.

Travel plans can be delayed or cancelled during Jupiter retro. This is a time to slow down and give focus to your personal belief systems and understandings of success and abundance. This is also not the best time to take big risks, or spend up big.. but rather do your research, ponder and follow your inner-guidance when Jupiter moves direct.

Saturn Retrograde – 2018
18 April 2018 (Capricorn) – 6 September 2018 (Capricorn)

Saturn takes approximately 29.5 years to do a complete revolution around our Sun. Saturn moves into retrograde approximately every year for around 140 days.

Saturn is often referred to as the planet of karma, discipline or the dispenser of justice. It is a factual planet that induces us to face our personal reality, and is thorough, unrelenting and breaks down our control issues. I like to view Saturn as a wise old sage.

When Saturn is retro, it is not a time to take short-cuts, but an opportunity to take things slowly and do it correctly the first time around.. or you may find you will be revisiting the project over and over again. It is a time to understand your limitations or limitations of those around you and practice patience. Authority maybe also be an issue at this time, and you may feel like ‘fighting the system’ be it in your family, place of work or the greater sphere of community or government. When Saturn is retrograde there also tends to be a lack of boundaries.. so be mindful of saying YES to everything and then feeling overwhelmed and a loss of power.

Take the opportunity during Saturn retro to do some deep soul searching, assess what needs to change and prepare for this change once Saturn moves direct. It is a time to assess our failures, learn from our mistakes and emerge from the introspection with wisdom and understanding.

Uranus Retrograde – 2018
7 August 2018 (Taurus) – 7 January 2019 (Aries)

Uranus takes about 84 years to do a complete revolution around our Sun, thus spending about 7 years in each sign of the Zodiac. Uranus moves into retrograde approximately every year for around 148 days.

With Uranus, simply ‘expect the unexpected’. Uranus is like a wildcard of the pack, unpredictable, original and out of the box thinking. Uranus can spark revolutions as it has its gaze on more humanitarian, freedom loving and unconventional pursuits.

When Uranus is retro, chaos is often the order of the day as you expect the unexpected of an unexpectable planet ! If you are shy you may find yourself at the centre of attention, or if you are an extrovert you may find yourself hiding away. You may find your personality or behavior quite altered at this time, as your actions in the world oppose what others normally experience or expect of you.

Take the opportunity during Uranus retro to explore inwardly what freedom means to you and what you need to change to be this freedom. Intuition is heightened during this self-help psychological assessment and real ‘ah-ha’ moments are often the order of the day.

Neptune Retrograde – 2018
19 June 2018 (Pisces) – 25 November 2018 (Pisces)

Neptune takes about 165 years to do a complete revolution around our Sun, thus spending about 14 years in each sign of the Zodiac. Neptune moves into retrograde approximately every year for around 150 days.

Neptune is often referred to as the ‘higher octave’ cousin of Venus. Thus our values for love, beauty and passions become more ‘universal’ through Neptune. Neptune is the planet of the mysterious, the illusionary and beyond the confines of the program. It calls us to gain insights from higher states of conscious/awareness/dream state. In it’s polarity, Neptune can also represent the hypnotic trance like state of delusion.

When Neptune is retrograde, people tend to focus more on their dreams, intuition and all creative pursuits. If you are usually in a ‘dream state’ you may find that you work with retro energy to bring this dream into physical form. If you deny the dream state, then retro may induce escapism and the taking of mind-altering substances to block the dream or movie from playing out.

During Neptune retro, turn into the inner-self and be receptive to the truth. The illusion is exposed and reality is factual. This is a great time to foster the inner-creative and bring it into physical form.

Pluto Retrograde – 2018
22 April 2018 (Capricorn) – 1 October 2018 (Capricorn)

Pluto takes 248 years to do a complete revolution around our Sun, thus spending on average about 21 years (12 to 31 years) in each sign of the Zodiac. Pluto moves into retrograde approximately every year for around 5 or 6 months.

PLUTO is the outer most planet in our solar system (and yes it is still a planet in astrology).. and its energy brings about transformation. Pluto induces us to look into the deep recesses of our subconscious and transform that which doesn’t serve. Of course we all have free will & choice… but Pluto has a unique way of pushing your buttons and ‘making you’ transform or else ! Pluto can be pretty intense, but it can also make things happen ! Pluto is about death & birth, destruction & reformation, and endings & beginnings.

When Pluto is retrograde, we are guided to turn inward to our own personal shadow side and take a long hard look at the good, the bad and the ugly. There is no hiding as we ‘see’ our desires and our feelings around power, control and money. And we also ‘see’ our motivation for our desires, ie is it for revenge is it because we really want it ! It is also a time to revisit some of those old wounds, perceived limitations and purge then out of our lives.

During Pluto retro, it is a time to transcend control and acknowledge that transformation will take place. We can flow with the destruction that may come with this inner-phase or we can move through it kicking and screaming… and well simply cause even more unnecessary pain and hurt within our lives.

Outer Planetary Transits – 2018

The personal planets – Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus & Mars – move quickly through the Zodiac and represent our individual personal characteristics and experiences.

The outer planets – Jupiter, Saturn, Chiron, Uranus, Neptune & Pluto – take a much longer time to transit the Sun, hence they shape the big picture themes of our lives. 

Jupiter in Scorpio –
10 October 2017 to 8 November 2018
12 Year transit through the Zodiac

Jupiter (abundance, luck & expansion) moved into Scorpio (passionate, emotional, willpower, psychic, determined, secretive) on the 10 October 2017.  When Jupiter transits a sign, it ‘expands’ the energy/theme of that sign.  Before this Scorpio transit, Jupiter transited through Libra for just under a year – think relationships & partnership with others to pursue common goals through harmonic teamwork.   But now that Jupiter is transiting Scorpio we are re-envisioning our relationship with power & control (in every area of our lives – work, relationships, sex, finances) and finding our own ‘truths’ beyond what we have been told / or what has been imprinted.

Interestingly in the media in early October 2017, Harvey Weinstein (Hollywood Power-Player) was outed/accused of multiple accounts of sexual harrasment, assault & rape.  The world responded through #metoo as Jupiter was ‘outing’ through secretive Scorpio the patriarchal abuse of power & control. 

As Jupiter transits Scorpio for most of 2018, it will be a time to moving through the deep, secretive and often salacious waters of Scorpio and discovering parts of us that are wanting to emerge.  We may discover something different about our sexuality and find new & sensual ways of turn on.  Watch the finances this year as Jupiter & over-confident Scorpio may incur a false sense of security re risk… but then again, maybe this is a good thing.. a opportunity to start something new and step out of your comfort zone.   During this transit, it is important to see through those that may become a bit ‘full of themselves’ as they coerce you into their web with their charm and erotic wit.  Sit back, breathe, what does your heart tell you… and allow Jupiter to uncover those that are trying to play others as fools.

Jupiter in Sagittarius –
8 November 2018
12 Years to transit the Zodiac

Jupiter (abundance, luck & expansion) will move into into Sagittarius (freedom, leadership, adventure, spiritual, optimistic) on the 8 November 2018.  When Jupiter transits a sign, it ‘expands’ the energy/theme of that sign.  Jupiter rules Sagittarius so is naturally at home in this sign…

Saturn in Capricorn –
20 December 2017 to 21 March 2020
29.5 Years to transit the Zodiac

Saturn (life lessons, wisdom, karma, responsibility) moved into Capricorn (practical, realist, reliable, hard worker) on the 20 December 2017.  Saturn takes approximate 29.5 years to transit the Zodiac and hence spends on average 2-1/2 years in each sign.  The last time that Saturn was in Capricorn was in 1988-1991 – think back to that time and what was happening in your life or what were the themes back then… as Saturn will be pushing you to address these themes once more (hopefully from a greater awareness/consciousness this time !).  Saturn is the ruler of Capricorn so the two do complement each other, even though their energy can be experienced a little differently.  During this Saturn transit, it is a great time to get real and be truly honest with yourself re your work/career, financial plan and every other facet of your life including relationships.  There are no short-cuts with this transit, no quick fixes or easy way outs… this is a transit that compels us to create a plan, ensure EVERY area of our life is brought into balance (that includes self-care) and then to use this solid and harmonised foundation to truly flourish.  Saturn is here is a teacher and Capricorn is ready and willing to learn and gain clarity of how to move beyond challenges and show up for life from a place of self-responsibility.. and self-love.

Chiron in Pisces –
20 April 2010 to 23 April 2023
49-51 Years to transit the Zodiac

Chiron (wounded healer) moved into Pisces (Sensitive, psychic, dreamy, creative, charitable) in April 2010.  Chiron was only discovered in 1977 (though there are pre-discovery photos dating back to 1895).  Chiron is the wounded healer, be it our wounds that are physical, emotional, mental or spiritual.  As Chiron transits Pisces it opens a potential to ‘heal our wounds’ beyond just structure & the physical, to a more conscious state of healing of the body, mind & spirit .  Thus this 13 year transit provides a real opportunity to ‘heal’ areas of your life and facilitate deep transformation.  It is an opportunity to repattern the hologram, or transcend deep cellular or DNA imprints and attune to higher states of consciousness.  Victimhood will become a thing of the past (if you so choose), and forgiveness along with all things mystical and unseen heals.

Uranus (rebellion, freedom, unconventional, technological advancement, humanitarianism) moved into Aries (Leader, impatient, risk taker) in May 2010.  It will be in Aries for 8 years, briefly entering Taurus in May 2018, then it will retrograde back into Aries on 6 Nov 2018 until 6 March 2019.  The last time Uranus was in Aries was 84 years ago !  This period heralds a time of finding your own two feet, your independence and finding freedom to be YOU.  This is a time to move beyond the boundaries of the BOX and own your I AM and not be drawn or defined by the memes of society.  As Einstein said ‘you can’t solve a problem from the same level of consciousness that created it’… thus this is a time to think / feel / be expanded consciousness to solve the problems of today.  Expect the unexpected during this time… and live your life as a direct expression of spirit unique to you… and allow your rawness to empower others to do the same.

Pluto (transformation & empowerment) moved into Capricorn (Practical, realist, reliable, hard worker) in Jan 2008.  Pluto was in Sagittarius prior to moving into Capricorn, where it had been transiting since 1995.  Pluto was last in Capricorn Nov 1762 until Dec 1778.  Heralding transformation, Pluto in Capricorn is about death and rebirth or endings and beginnings.  It is a time of breaking down all old outdated structures… structures that embody power & control such as governments, corporations & religion.  This dismantling then creates opportunities to rebuild solid foundations from the ground up and inside-out… structures that support communities, humanity and the sustainable life of this planet.

Numerology is a most ancient and mystical art form for understanding our own personal cycles of growth & evolution AND becoming conscious of ourselves in the greater context of planetary & cosmic evolution.

If you have ever attended a course with me you will know how much I LOVE numerology (I am a triple ‘777’ in numerology, what can I say, it is in my genes)…  and I just LOVE how the cosmos communicates with us with such clarity & ease through numbers.

When we become conscious of the meaning and energetic significance of the vibration of numbers within our lives, we are empowered to know ourselves, consciously align our inner-cycles with our outer cosmic-cycles and awaken to the grandest version of the greatest vision we have ever held for ourselves.

Whether you work consciously with Universal Years, the Soul Numerology of your name (refer Shealla-Dreaming), the numerology of your date of birth, your current personal year… or just work with the sacred messages of numbers (eg car number plates, clocks, car oedometers etc)… numerology is a mystical guide, sacred tool and divine messenger to help you navigate the journey of the Soul.

Sharing with you below my insights on the energy of 2018 from a UNIVERSAL YEAR perspective and the opportunities/challenges that lie ahead for the forthcoming 12 months. .

I have detailed below how to calculate and discover the meaning of your own PERSONAL YEAR during 2018 – such that you can make the most of the opportunities that will present to you in 2018.

Numerology of Universal Year – 2018

Year:   2018
Universal Energy for 2018:   2 + 0 + 1 + 8 = 11

In numerology, the energy of the Universal Year (the calendar year) weaves a universal theme of potential through our lives.  How you then work with the energy of the Universal Year will be dependent on your own Personal Year – hence keep reading down the page to understand more about YOU in 2018.

The last time we experienced a Universal 11 Year was in 2009, and then before that the last Universal 11 year was in 1910… thus well over 99% of the worlds population have only ever experienced one or two Universal Year 11 vibrations in their lifetime… so this is a biggy for our entire planet !

In numerology the number 11 is a Master Number – ‘Master’ meaning it is of intense/high vibrational frequency and works within the aetherial, magical and transcendental realms of creation. Master numbers possess great potential for learning and growth, and can bring major transformations in your life.

The number 11 is the most intuitive number and is a clear channel to the subconscious. It is the number of leadership, personal power and spiritual truths. The number 1 by itself represents leadership, initiative and new beginnings (2017 was a Universal ‘1’ Year in Numerology)… thus two number 1’s together opens a gateway of potential far greater than the sum of its parts.   It like taking the Universal Year ‘1’ energy of 2017 and amping it up to the max in 2018 as a double ‘1’ = 11 energy.

11 = Shambhala

The word ‘Shambhala’ resonates to the Master Number 11 in numerology… and is the perfect word to help us embrace the greater potential of our Universal 11 Year.

Shambhala is a sanskrit word that roughly translates to a place of peace, tranquility & happiness.  Each of us has the FREEDOM in our hearts/minds to choose to experience Heaven here on Earth, a place of Shambhala.   We have the choice to live our lives being kind to one another, to live in harmony with the Earth and in service to something greater than us. 

Our Universal 11 Year is our wakeup call to remember Shambhala, to remember how beautiful the world feels when we experience our lives through our hearts and how when we choose to create Shambhala in everything we do we awaken the best in ourselves and inspire others to do the same.

Our experience of Shambhala is a choice and each of us has the free will and the freedom to choose. We have the freedom to choose a path of truth, authenticity & Love… or conversely the freedom to choose fear, struggle with self-confidence or create suffering through self-doubt.  The choice is yours!

Forinstance, look at the image at the top of this page – by way of background, my son took this photo of himself, a long exposure of him looking up at the Galactic Plane of our Milky Way Galaxy with his reflection in the water.   I have purposely chosen this photo & presented it this way for a number of reasons.

Firstly… in a Universal 11 Year we have the FREEDOM to really SEE ourselves from a greater level of awareness or consciousness.  Just like looking at our reflection in the water, we are drawn during 2018 to take a good hard look at areas in our life where we have held ourselves back, stayed small for fear of rejection, or limited our growth for fear of failure.  What do you ‘see’ when you take a deep introspective look at your life in this  moment, what is the universe reflecting back to you in this Universal 11 Year.

Secondly… I have turned the photo sideways as a reminder that the highest potential of a Universal 11 Year will flourish to new heights when you choose to let go of what you ‘think’ you need to do/be in 2018 and tap into a much greater resource of energy within you… how you ‘feel’.   Our brain perceives our world/environment to be a certain way, hence our lives may follow a course based on these perceptions.  However, just like shown in the photo… there really is no correct ‘up’ or no correct direction to represent reality… we only perceive a situation from the place we are viewing the situation from.  If you were to take your awareness outside of Earth, into outer space and view the Earth from every angle you would would discover is that there really is no true North South East & West per se…as these directions change from the position you are viewing the Earth from.  Interesting!!!

When you ‘feel’, you are letting go of limiting beliefs, unconscious imprints, the way your brain analyses and perceives a situation and instead you become a conduit of infinite solutions & potentialities through the filed of infinite intelligence.  This is what a Universal 11 Year holds in store for us, the ability to move outside of ourselves and ‘feel into’ a higher consciousness, a world more beautiful through our Hearts.  This is a place where miracles really do happen, deepest hurts are healed and forgiveness comes with ease as there is no limitation to how brightly you can shine.

Thirdly… I am writing this Universal 11 Year article on the eve of the Summer Winter Solstice as we align on the Galactic Plane of the Milky Way Galaxy.  This GALACTIC ALIGNMENT COSMIC BLUEPRINT supports us in stepping into our greater Evolutionary Purpose and helps us to surrender to the grandest version of the greatest vision that we have ever held for ourselves… now that is a PERFECT booster of energy taking us into the grander potential of our Universal 11 Year.

Other energetic influences – 11 Universal Year

There are a number of celestial transits during 2018 that are taking our Universal 11 Year energy to an even higher level of potential.

Pluto (the planet of transformation & empowerment) is transiting through Capricorn (practical, realist, reliable, hard worker) until 2024.  Pluto in Capricorn is about death and rebirth or endings and beginnings.  It is a time of breaking down all old outdated structures… structures that embody power & control such as governments, corporations & religion.  This dismantling then creates opportunities to rebuild solid foundations from the ground up and inside-out… structures that support communities, humanity and the sustainable life of this planet…. Chiron (wounded healer) is transiting through Pisces (Sensitive, psychic, dreamy, creative, charitable) until 2023.  As Chiron transits Pisces it opens a potential to ‘heal our wounds’ beyond just structure & the physical, to a more conscious state of healing of the body, mind & spirit . A real opportunity to ‘heal’ areas of your life and facilitate deep transformation.  It is an opportunity to repattern the hologram, or transcend deep cellular or DNA imprints and attune to higher states of consciousness… SHAMBHALA ♡

Saturn (life lessons, wisdom, karma, responsibility) is transiting through Capricorn (practical, realist, reliable, hard worker) until 2020. During this Saturn transit, it is a great time to get real and be truly honest with yourself re your work/career, financial plan and every other facet of your life including relationships.  There are no short-cuts with this transit, no quick fixes or easy way outs… this is a transit that compels us to create a plan, ensure EVERY area of our life is brought into balance (that includes self-care) and then to use this solid and harmonised foundation to truly flourish.  Saturn is here is a teacher and Capricorn is ready and willing to learn and gain clarity of how to move beyond challenges and show up for life from a place of self-responsibility… and self-love… SHAMBHALA ♡

Jupiter (abundance, luck & expansion) is transiting through Scorpio (passionate, emotional, willpower, psychic, determined, secretive) until November 2018.  As Jupiter transits Scorpio we are re-envisioning our relationship with power & control (in every area of our lives – work, relationships, sex, finances) and finding our own ‘truths’ beyond what we have been told / or what has been imprinted. 

The 11 Vibration will amplify the energy of the Jupiter transit through Scorpio compelling people to wake people up from their deep sleep or hypnotic trance of illusion.  To speak up (eg #metoo) and bring light to the shaddow by seeking truth from those in positions of power. … SHAMBHALA ♡

Thriving in a Universal 11 Year

The choices we make during a Universal 11 Year have the potential to springboard great leaps in the collective consciousness of our planet.

In numerology the word ‘VIBRATION’ resonates to the number 11, so what ‘VIBRATION’ are you choosing to emit/share with the world during 2018? Are your thoughts, actions, emotions going to be representative of your greater personal and hence collective vision, or is your VIBRATION working the 11 energy from a place of fear ?

You have the choice to align your 11 VIBRATION during 2018 in Love, Compassion & Unity… what do you choose ?

As we venture into 2018, take a moment to reflect on the following list of ‘11’ words in numerology that you may like to consciously work with during 2018 to experience your own Shambhala here on Earth… and truly thrive in 2018!

• ENERGY = 11 in Numerology.  From a place of free will, how will you direct your ENERGY in 2018 to be a source of LOVE ?

 

• LIGHT & ENLIGHTENMENT = 11 in Numerology.  The LIGHT of Creation resides within you.  You have the freedom to live your life from this place of infinite power within and be change from the inside out during 2018. 

 

• WISDOM = 11 in Numerology.  All the Universal Laws and WISDOM of Creation resides within you.

 

• PURITY = 11 in Numerology.  Align your ENERGY(11), LIGHT(11), WISDOM(11) in the PURITY of the LOVE of Creation. It is from this place of least resistence that all healing begins.

 

• DIVINE EMANATION = 11 in Numerology. There are thirteen DIVINE EMANATIONs / Sacred Keys /Universal Laws that underpin the workings of Creative Evolution.  Be this wisdom of creation through you, be the LIGHT.

 

• PURPOSE = 11 in Numerology.  What is your PURPOSE here on Earth, and how may you work to the highest level of this purpose in this lifetime. An 11 vibration year is the perfect year to reconnect with ‘how may I serve’ ?

 

• HEALING = 11 in Numerology.  Take the time during 2018 to be a source of HEALING. Heal the pain of duality within, give compassion, understanding and forgiveness to self. Heal the Healer.

 

• ANGELS & JESUS = 22 in Numerology (11:11).  The wakeup key embedded within our DNA reminded us that God/Angels/Christ Consciousness reside within.

 

• OmAhOm = 11 in Numerology.  OmAhOm was the light-language used by our ancient ancestors.  The Om is pronounced as ‘om’ as in the word ‘from’ and Ah is pronounced as ‘ah’ as in the word ‘father’. OmAhOm translates to:  I honour the Divine Love that exists within YOU, within ME and within ALL of CREATION, we are all ONE

Numerology of your Personal Year

Everything in creation ebbs and flows in cycles – Night & Day, the Seasons, our yearly Solar Cycle and our greater 225 million year Galactic Cycle…. and all of these cycles fall within the Great Cosmic Breath of life.

When you understand the natural flow of our own Personal Cycles (in relationship to the current Universal Year), you release the need to force EVERY year to be about dynamic growth and material gain.  Instead, you open yourself to wholistic growth and abundance… a growth and highest expression of your emotional, mental & spiritual states of beingness.

It doesn’t mean that you are enslaved to your Personal Years any more than you are enslaved to Universal Years. But rather, when you read the energy of your Personal Year in alignment with the Universal Year for 2018, you can work with the Rhythm and Flow of your life’s cycles, rather than get ‘burn-out’ by swimming against the tide. You are empowered to make decisions that flow with the rhythm of the universe through the BluePrint of your Soul and the greater divine plan of the unfoldment of Creation through you.

To calculate the energy of your Personal Year, simply take your day of birth, add it to your month of birth and add it to the current year – adding all the individual digits together. If the sum of these digits comes to a double digit (eg 34), then add these digits together to reduce the number to a single digit (eg 3 + 4 = 7).

For example, I am born on the 27 November (11th month), thus in numerological terms in 2018, I am in a personal ‘22’ year (Master Number), which I may also experience at a lower vibration as a ‘4’ year.
2 + 7 + 1 + 1 + 2 + 0 + 1 + 8 = 22   Master Number Personal Year

However, when reducing the digits down to a single digit, I also have the potential (particularly if I don’t receive the gifts inherent within a 22 Master Number Personal Year) to experience 2018 at a vibrational ‘4’ Personal Year.
2 + 7 + 1 + 1 + 2 + 0 + 1 + 8 = 22   and  2 + 2= 4  Personal Year

Once you have calculated your Personal Year number, then please read the applicable Personal Year write up below to understand more about this current cycle within your life and how you can work with this energy consciously throughout 2018.

PERSONAL YEAR 1:
Keywords: New Beginnings, Rebirth, Start of a New Cycle
This year represents new beginnings as you step into a whole new 9 year cycle of growth and evolution. You feel vital, enthusiastic and motivated as you set new goals and visions for this new cycle of your life. You have gained much wisdom from the previous cycle and you now have the choice to put this wisdom into practice in this next cycle. A Personal 1 year is not just about setting the foundations for this whole new cycle but it is also about taking action and physically planting the seeds in order to birth opportunities over the next 9 years.

PERSONAL YEAR 2:
Keywords: Patience, Decisions, Rhythm
A Personal 2 year is about relationships, alliances and making choices. After all that enthusiasm of your Personal 1 year, you may find a Personal 2 year frustrating as it can appear from the outside to be fraught with delays, obstacles and much waiting ! After ‘planting the seed’ in Year 1 it started to bear roots and create foundations, then in Year 2 the ‘seed starts to grow’ with the shoot breaking into ‘2’ and sprouting leaves. Suddenly you are in a position to begin to see the physical expression of your Personal Year 1 choices – and hence is a year of reflection and understanding ‘what will it take to make this 9 year plant grow’. You may have to adjust your visions, meet new people to aid you in your goals, network with like minded souls or even make changes in yourself… this is a year of choice and the possibilities are only limited by your imagination.

PERSONAL YEAR 3:
Keywords: Fun, Joy, Celebrating Wins
As the saying goes ‘all good things come in 3’s’… thus in a Personal 3 year you will begin to see some ‘wins’ in your life as all that envisioning in Year 1 and then choices you made in Year 2 will begin to pay off in Year 3. In a Personal 3 year you will have that air of confidence that can make you alluring to others, thus things may tend to fall into your lap this year – be it in business, relationships or your finances. However, be aware not to say ‘YES’ to everything, as you may end the year on burnout or overload. Use your charm this year to delegate and free up time to play and celebrate the wins… and if you can ‘bank’ all of that ‘gold finger’ energy, as you may need it in the next year.

PERSONAL YEAR 4:
Keywords: Responsibility, Karma, Hard Work
How you choose to align with this year will determine whether you will experience a year of Grace & Ease or find a Personal 4 year to be the year from hell !!! A personal 4 year is your time to make good on all your commitments from your Personal 3 year and take responsibility by walking your talk. It is an opportunity to reflect on your patterns and how these maybe molded from old beliefs, opinions of others or possibly even playing out stories of past lives. This is a year of ‘growing up’, being prepared to break the cycles of old and all that is not working and make fresh decisions from a place of higher purpose and highest soul potential. This is a ‘roll your sleeves up’ type of year and getting down to work… how committed are you really to your goals that you made in Personal Year 1 ?

PERSONAL YEAR 5:
Keywords: Freedom, Travel, Adventure… and did I mention FREEDOM !
After all that introverted self-analysis and hard work within your Personal 4 year, you will find that all that dedicated nose to the grindstone stuff has paid off… and in actual fact you may have discovered that the only person waving that big stick is you ! What a discovery to make, that you are actually FREE to make CHOICES about your own life and you are not bound by the thoughts, opinions or beliefs of others. This is a year to put this new found freedom to work and go travelling, make new friends, seek out new adventures and ditch the routine.

PERSONAL YEAR 6:
Keywords: Lovers, Family, Home, Heart
After expressing all that freedom in your Personal 5 year, you may come to release that there is no place like home… and that home is where the heart is. A Personal 6 year is about blossoming all of your Heart connections… committing to an existing relationship, or ending a stagnant relationship to open the golden door of opportunity for a new relationship to blossom. You may feel guided to spend much more time with family and friends, forgiveness may be a big lesson for you this year. This is a great year to get engaged, married or start a family.. and new friendships made this year will often be for life. You may also be guided to build the heart of your home or business, nesting and being of service to others.

PERSONAL YEAR 7:
Keywords: Introverted, Mystic, Self-Awareness & Improvement
A Personal 7 year is the opportunity to really self-reflect on yourself as a ‘Soul having a Physical experience’ and to psycho-analyse (ouch, that sounds ominous)… just what that means to you. Who are you on planet Earth ? Does your life add value to the world ? Do you make a difference ? This is a big year of facing some truths, going within and seeking answers to some of the big questions. This is a year to find out how you can be the ‘alchemist’ and manifest your dreams for not only your highest purpose but for the highest good of all. You may be guided this year to spend more time by yourself, travel outside of your local area or even take up a new course of study.

PERSONAL YEAR 8:
Keywords: ‘As Above, So Below’ & Polarity
In an 8 Personal year everything appears to be magnified… thus what you focus your attention on this year you will receive more of. In an 8 Personal Year you will tend to have that certain je ne sais quoi, that intangible quality that makes you desirable and attractive to others… it is up to you whether you flaunt it or stick you head in the sand and hide it ! When you focus positively on abundance in finances, career & wealth this year… expect returns to flow much more easily this year. But of course, if you go into the poverty stricken ‘woe is me’, well you will truly manifest that reality and have a most woeful year on record. You have the potential of the ‘midas touch’ this year, the world is your oyster should you choose believe in yourself.

PERSONAL YEAR 9:
Keywords: Completion, Service, End of a Cycle
I personally LOVE a Personal Year 9, as it is a wonderful opportunity to reflect on your 9 year journey, review all of your experiences and wisdoms gained and make decisions on how you will choose to commencing the next year in a new cycle. It is a great year to also share your experiences with others in service, offering pearls of wisdom from your journey. For some, a Personal 9 year can be a little irritating as if the ‘shoes do not fit’ anymore and you just want to make a leap into the next Personal Year 1, as you feel a disconnection with the last 9 year cycle and just want to pursue new aspirations and visions for your life. Breathe, be and rest and recuperate this year… enjoy the fruits of all you efforts from your ‘seed planting’ in the past Year 1, and then take the seeds from your fruits and use these to start your Personal 1 year in the next cycle.  Remember, it is important to tie up all loose ends in a 9 year, reflect and embrace all you have learnt, practice forgiveness and let go of all that is no longer needed in readiness for your subsequent Personal 1 year.

Whilst many Numerologists prefer to reduce Personal Year Numbers to a single digit, where the Personal Year Numbers reduce to a ‘Master Number’ (such as 11, 22 etc), I prefer to work with both the Master Number AND then reflect on the reduced Number.

The Master Number amplifies the energy of the individual number, creating a ‘Masterful’ exponential potential.  A Master number can be challenging to work with at times as the energy is commanding, however when harnessed, a Master Number can lead to extraordinary experiences and opportunities in your life.

The reduced Master Number is also important to consider, even though the reduced number dimishes the full potency of the Master Number.  I find that the energy of the reduced Master Number may come into force whereby the gifts inherent within Master Number have not been received. This is not necessarily a negative occurrence, just a weakened experience of a greater potential.

PERSONAL YEAR 11:

Our first FULL MOON of 2018 is a SUPERMOON on the 2 January.  This is the third SUPERMOON in a trilogy of FULL MOON SUPERMOONS – the first & second having taking place in November & December 2017.

On the back of last months Galactic Alignment and amplified through our 2018 Universal 11 Year energy… plus the day after our 1 January 2018 11:11 gateway (more about that below)… this is a joyous & exhilarating Full Moon to kick off 2018 !

We also have a BLUE MOON Full Moon at the end of January combined with our first Lunar Eclipse of the year… and I will share more about this in a future post

General Meaning – Full Moons 

The mid-point of our 29 day lunar cycle is marked by the Full Moon.  During a Full Moon, the Moon is sitting opposite the Sun and is fully illuminated as it reflects the light of the Sun.

The Moon & the Sun emanate frequencies and these energy waves influence the tides, and all life forms on Earth, including human behaviour & consciousness.  In addition, during a Full Moon, both the Moon & Sun are opposing each other on opposite sides of the zodiac… which can make for a challenging or intense aspect of energy but also a very potent potential as the Lunar & Solar (yin & yang) are in natural harmonic balance.

The SUN represents our ‘outer-world’, our identify, our personality, our ego.  It represents how we ‘shine our light’ out into the world, the present moment, our yang or masculine archetype expression.  The Sun offers us strength, courage and illuminated insight of the Soul.

The MOON represents our ‘inner world’, our hidden emotions, desires, our shadow-self, fears/worries and our dreams.  It represents our feelings, our unconscious beliefs, the past and our yin or feminine goddess archetype.  The Moon offers us the ability to feel, learn from the past and creatively unlock and express our essence.

During a FULL MOON, the Moon is fully illuminated as it sits in opposition to our Sun.  The energy (influenced by the current Zodiac transit) is heightened and emotions, feelings, mental processes, dreams etc are all amplified.  When the Sun & Moon oppose each other during a Full Moon, this can cause tension & uncomfortable friction, but at the same time a greater amplification of vision & potential possibility.  The Full Moon is a powerful time of gratitude, gracefully acknowledging the beauty of life itself and all you have brought into beingness.  You may feel a burning desire to express your creativity, bliss out in sensual activities & through fierce yet profoundly tender vibrations let go of any aspects of your life that no longer serve the grandest vision of your Soul.

The FULL MOON is a great time to ‘moon bathe’ – simply sit under the light of the moon & meditate – and is you breathe-in allow the moon to warm your Heart & expand the beauty of the present moment, and as you breathe-out let the light of the moon transmute that which you wish to release.   Full Moon ceremonies, either lighting a candle for yourself or coming together with others in sacred circle, is a powerful way to bring healing to the self/group and simply BE this Wave of LOVE for all Humanity & planet Earth.  I LOVE placing my crystals out under the Full Moon to cleanse their crystalline structures and infuse them with solar vibrations.

During the CANCER Full Moon, the moon is reflecting the light of the Sun in CAPRICORN. 

As the forces of the Sun & Moon oppose each other (Ego vs Emotions, I vs We) … our FULL MOON will have a super-charged effect as it is the third of trilogy of Supermoons over the months of November, December & now finally January 2018.

Our first FULL MOON of 2018 is quite significant as it involves many aspects all contributing to the theme of 2018.

The impact of 11:11 this Full Moon…

As I discussed in my Numerology of 2018 post, this year we enter a Universal 11 Year in Numerology – a Master Number – a year of of aetherial, magical & transcendental learning & growth.

PLUS on the 1 January 2018… an 11:11 Gateway opens to us (1st day, of the 1st Month of an 11 Year) – a wakeup key embedded within our DNA reminding us that the Light of Creation resides within.

PLUS on our FULL Moon SUPERMOON the Moon is positioned at 11⁰38 (11:11) Cancer and the SUN is positioned at 11⁰38 (11:11) Capricorn.  WOW of WOW… YES the energy of 11 is certainly the theme of 2018 and it become amplified to the MAX over our first FULL MOON of the year.

Emotions running high this Full Moon…

The FULL MOON in watery CANCER will mean that emotions will be running very high this FULL MOON… but if channeled wisely, will be a brilliant opportunity to gain deep intuitive insight into your own personal themes for 2018.   What do you envision / feel / imagine for yourself this 2018 and what must you let go of in order to birth this awakened vision of you ?  Let the Sun in the practical sign of CAPRICORN bring to light what is felt deep within your Heart-n-Soul.

When the Moon is in Cancer, the focus is on your family and home environment.  You may feel a sudden urge to de-clutter, finish those odd-jobs & make your abode more homely.  The focus on family & relationships will also be heightened with the Moon close to the asteroid VESTA.  Your heart will be guided to nurture and provide a homely sanctuary for your loved ones… or maybe spicing up the bedroom & spending time with your lover.  There will be a calling to nest down and find solace in the comfort and security of your home.

A great Full Moon for channelling…

On a side note too, MERCURY the planet of Communication, moved direct from its Retrograde transit on the 23/24 December 2017 just after its playful time with the GALACTIC CENTRE Alignment. Thus leading into this FULL MOON SUPERMOON third & final trilogy, we are receiving ‘channeled’ insight into a more beautiful world… and now its up to us to take our insights and put them into conscious action. 

Awakening the Divine Feminine this Full Moon…

On an interesting note, MAKEMAKE (a dwarf planet) at 4⁰Libra is conjunct the SuperGalactic Centre (SGC) at 2⁰Libra.  MakeMake compels us to delve down into the dark interior of the psyche in order to obtain a more passive and feminist form of received wisdom to be merged with the warrior male outer-oriented energy of the ego.  And the Super Galactic Centre represents the greater potential of our Higher Collective Consciousness – the Collective Evolutionary Purpose of our Galaxy. WOW… what a combination to conjunct and amplify each other!!! 

But wait there is more… this MakeMake/SGC conjunction is also in a weak square with the MOON in opposition with VENUS (Venus the Goddess / Divine Feminine) and also in a week conjunction with SIRIUS (the archetypal Divine Masculine).  Venus can be serious in LOVE when in Capricorn and when in opposition to the Moon in Cancer, we are guided to look at ALL of our relationships and to ‘see’ if we are fulfilled or are needs are being met… and the different expectations that exists between partners.

I feel strongly that this SUPER FULL MOON will prize the lid open further on high-profile cases of sexual misconduct. Leading into this FULL MOON we are already seeing celebrities being ‘called out‘ for diminishing mysoginistic behaviour by rating it on a scale… for what we are reminded of this FULL MOON is that EVERY action, word or deed that diminishes a women will NOT EVER be tolerated.  

Full Moon SUPERMOON Energy…

As mentioned above, our January 1/2, 2018 FULL MOON marks the third SUPERMOON in a trilogy of FULL MOON SUPERMOONS.  

The first SUPERMOON occurred on November 3/4, 2017, the second on December 3/4, 2017 and the third now takes place on January 1/2, 2018.

Overall, energy runs high during a SUPERMOON… you may feel more emotional, electric, experience sleep disturbances or  have expressive / lucid dreams. You may also find your intuition is heightened,  synchronicity more pronounced and you become more aware or sensitive to the energy of the environment / people / plants / animals… actually everything !

During this 3rd SUPERMOON we are anchoring the energy that opened to us during the energetic window GALACTIC ALIGNMENT on the 18 to 22 December 2017.

We start 2018 on this FULL MOON SUPERMOON inspired to embrace our greater Evolutionary Purpose and to step into the grandest version of the greatest vision that we have ever held for ourselves.  ♡

January 2018 marks a rare event with TWO Full Moons falling in the same month – the first was on January 1st/2nd and now the second is coming up on January 31st… hence this second Full Moon in a calendar month is called a BLUE MOON.  In addition, BOTH of our January Full Moons are SuperMoons.

PLUS… our January 31st Full SuperMoon is also a TOTAL Lunar Eclipse.  Oh my, the energy of 2018 has been phenomenal so far, what a great start to our 11 Year of Enlightenment!

Total Lunar Eclipse – a deep Emotional Insight…

A Lunar Eclipse occurs when the Moon is full and the Earth blocks the Suns rays from partially/fully reaching the Moon, thus the Moon is cast within the Earth’s shadow.

As the Moon is fully sitting in Earth’s shadow this Full Moon (ie unable to reflect the I AM Light of the Sun), a window opens and we are drawn into ourselves, the part that we don’t show to the world, the emotional and deepest part of our psyche.   The word ECLIPSE comes from the Greek word “ekleipsis” meaning “to abandon, to leave, to vanish” – and thats exactly what we may experience during a Lunar Eclipse – the desire to surrender and let go of parts of our self that limit our greater potential.

Whilst the Moon is in Leo & the Sun in Aquarius for our Total Lunar Eclipse this Full Moon, in sidereal astrology (that takes account of the procession of the equinoxes), our January 31 Lunar Eclipse in actual fact takes place in Cancer Constellation.  Cancer relates to nurturing, family, the home, mothering & sensitivity/intuition AND the Cancer is the natural ruler of the Moon… making this Total Lunar Eclipse extra-ordinarily powerful.  

The energy of this Total Lunar Eclipse will take us back into memories of our childhood, the warms arms of a parent, our experience of nurturing or tenderness in our childhood years and the roles our parents played in our up-bringing.  We may find our selves looking deeply into our past, feeling how we felt in our youth… and then reflecting on our lives in the present.

What ‘roles, traditions, imprints’ of our past have we brought into our lives in the present moment.  Do these values & experiences of our childhood represent who we are in the present ?  This will be a deeply insightful Full Moon, lots of emotional insights… just try not to get too ‘crabby’ !!!

PLUS… this Eclipse is being HUGELY influenced by the Lunar Nodes & Ceres taking us further down the rabbit hole into the roles of WOMEN in society…

Cere’s birthing an Awakened vision of Womanhood…

After the strong stirring of the Divine Feminine on our 1 January 2018 SUPERMOON, our 31 January 2018 Full Moon takes us into a deeper plunge into the stories & roles of Women in society.

The Moon represents our inner-world, our emotions and represents societies traditional roles/expectations of Women & Motherhood… such as stay at home mums.

Whereas the minor planet Cere’s represents the modern Woman and varied roles such as ‘working mums’, ‘single parenthood’ (includes men), shared parenting/worklife etc..

As Cere’s in Leo is in a STRONG conjunction with Moon in Leo (all being influenced my Cancer)… expect the conversation around Womanhood, Womens Rights and an awakened vision of the modern day Woman to strongly influence our lives.

Interesingly, just 10 days out from the Eclipse we have the Womens March on the 21 January 2018.  Here are a few quotes from the Womens March Webpage that really explain to a ‘T’ the energy of our 31 January Full Moon under the influence of Cere’s & Cancer… all being fired up with the Moon in Leo.

Whilst these extracts specifically relate to Woman, I see them in the greater context of the Divine Feminine (hence relating to both Men, Women, LBGTQI+)…

• Women’s Rights are Human Rights
• Making a committment to dismantle oppression & create diverse inclusive structures
• Women must be free to care for families free from social impediments
• Women deserve to live their lives free of violence
• Women deserve to make choices of themselves about their sexuality, relationships, family structures free from gender norms, expectations & stereotypes.

North Node in Leo firing up your independence…

The North Node in Leo conjunct the Moon in Leo is taking the energy of the Full Moon up to a radical new level of experience.

By way of background… the North Node of the Moon represents what we aspire to be, become, experience, grow from in this lifetime.  Whilst the South Node of the Moon represents what we have already mastered from the past (what is easy for us to fall back on), but what we must let go of in order to grow into the gifts of the North Node.

With the North Node in Leo this Full Moon (conjunct the Moon) and hence the South Node lies opposite in Aquarius (conjunct the Sun)… we will feel strong, confident, willing & empowered to step into ‘who we WANT to be as a WOMAN’ (Divine Feminine) in the world.   Leo is making us take the risk to be seen, heard & ourselves.

Conversely the South Node in Aquarius is helping us let go of the old story during this Eclipse of playing it safe, waiting for others to take action, not wanting to rock the boat, feeling scared of confrontation & running away from our hearts desires.

A minor influence too this Full Moon is the closeness of both Venus & Juno to the Sun.   Venus represents the Divine Feminine & the minor planet Juno the fertility & also finances.  Expect more ‘outings’ of pay inequality in society and a bigger push to narrow the gender pay-gap.

SUPERMOON Energy…

So many SUPERMOONS of late !

This will be the 4th SuperMoon in a row – the first November 3/4, 2017, the second on December 3/4, 2017, the third on January 1/2, 2018 and now the fourth on January 31, 2018.

Interestingly, our January 31st Full Moon SuperMoon is the LAST Full Moon SuperMoon for 2018.    As our June, July & August SuperMoons will all fall on the New Moon.

Overall, energy runs high during a SUPERMOON… you may feel more emotional, electric, experience sleep disturbances or  have expressive / lucid dreams. BLUE MOON Energy…

Our 31 January 2018 Full Moon is also a Blue Moon ie the second Full Moon to happen within a Calendar month.

The last Blue Moon (two Moons within a Calendar Month) occurred on the 31 July 2015.

Interestingly we have two Blue ‘Full’ Moons this year, one on the 31 January 2018 & another on 31 March 2018, with the next one not occuring until October 2020.

It is rare for two Blue Moons to happen in the one year.  The double Blue Moons only happen about 3 to 5 times every 100 years! 

The Full Moon is a powerful time of gratitude, gracefully acknowledging the beauty of life itself and all you have brought into beingness.  It is also a profound opportunity to let go of any aspects of your life that no longer serve the grandest vision of your Soul.

Sooo… this month we have TWO opportunities to do just that… the first being on the January 1/2, 2018 SUPERMOON and now on our January 31, SUPERMOON.  Such a fabulistic start to 2018 !

Plus… as we have a Blue Moon in January 2018 AND the fact that February is a short month, there are NO Full Moons in the Month of February.  The next full Moon after our 31 January 2018 full Moon falls on the 2 March 2018.  When there is NO Full Moon in a Calendar Month this is referred to as a BLACK Moon.   I will talk more about this next month
